Eddy Rivas is the actual writer for the three currently released episodes.
@Ghlitz Which shows that they didn't understand how Samurai Jack pulled it off, since with that show, the setting and the style of the show helped make the wildly varied things Jack stumbled upon more believable, helped by excellent art direction. This show... It feels like they're trying to do a more consistent aesthetic, which makes the clashing designs stand out even more.
They're also doing stuff like trying to do a marketplace scene when they clearly don't have the budget for proper crowd shots, so we get a mix of silhouettes and scribbles. I've always felt since RWBY that Rooster Teeth are bad at hiding their budget, or making sure not to get too ambitious.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Oh, I agree. Note I never claimed they were doing it well :-P
I was aware, just adding onto your point.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...So this is fine. Not amazing, not terrible, but I'm interested enough to see where it goes.
Episode 3
More animation issues, terrible dialogue, and Toth solidifies herself as an unlikable bitch. I'm also pretty sure the Ranchhand is a rip-off of a Trigun character.
I'm done. It may not be worth getting mad at, but it's also not good and lacks anything of interest.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I keep seeing this thread title and thinking it's some "Sargon of Akkad" parody.

I don't even see how you'd get that.
Because "X of Y" is a rare naming convention.
I'll admit this show could do things better but I'm sticking with it. I find it entertaining the Nomad adorable. Plus I'm impressed that despite him not saying anything the animation has always made what he's thinking or wants to convey clear.
It's simple, but I like it. Also, Trigun is one of my favorite anime. Also, this is kind of filling the RWBY-shaped gap in my soul.
The art style bothers me some. The eyes look weird.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Watched all the episodes released on You Tube.
I love it. It reminds me of the cartoons I loved back in my childhood and still do.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.So...any words on ep 7?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Eh, I kind of forgot this existed. I'm still at Episode 3. I'll get to watching the rest later.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!It's on hiatus right now coming back later this summer.[1]
...Chibi's on hiatus, RWBY's being worked on presumably, Red vs Blue is weekly or bi-weekly if you're not a sponsor. I've no idea what happened to the mecha show or X-Ray and Vav.
Maybe it's because I'm not into Achievement Hunter and the vlogs, but it feels like a lot of stuff's gone on hiatus all of a sudden.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!They put it on hiatus during it's first season? That's not a particularly strong impression, right there.
The show in general hasn't made a particularly strong impression. This just reeks of being half-assed.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? So, six episodes in and this series is already in hiatus.
Jesus Christ, at least have a decency of uploading a 12 episode season before having a hiatus.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. The reasoning was they didn't want it to compete against Red vs Blue (it went on hiatus the week before RVB started).
Goethe other shows mentioned here Genlock is still being worked on for debut this year, Xray and Vav has been concluded for years (Ray is no longer interested in voice acting and thought that season 2 was a good end). They have five new shows debuting this month (only one is animated) so it could be that Rooster Teeth doesn't want to drown out the new shows.
Didn't you rather publicly say you were done with this show?

Haven't gotten around to watching this, even moreso because the general consensus looks to be "not as good as it could be." Which is a shame, since "Trigun but with a silent wizard instead of a talkative badass pacifist gunslinger" sounds like a really awesome concept. (At least, I'm assuming that's what the show is trying to be.)
In any case, having a hiatus seems worrisome, but I don't know if Rooster Teeth is truly giving up on it since Nomad and Skout appear in this banner for the next Rooster Teeth Animation Festival.
Hmm, oh hey this is up to episode... 9 or 10 now? Anyway, seems like it has passed its "Oh shit gets real" part? Has the show improved?
I've been enjoying it, but probably couldn't write up an objective and informative post about it. It's at it's best when it's characters interaction and in the latest episode we get the origin of the Nomad which was not what I was expecting but makes sense, so I see the potential in it. It's entertaining and free so best of both worlds there.
I should get back to this since... RT seems to be pushing me to watch it all of a sudden.
My Little Trigun Pony episode... f-ck, what episode was I... damn it, now I have to restart it.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
Yeah, the idea of a duo pre-retool seems like a distinct possibility. (Which, incidentally, reminds me of The Zeta Project, despite me having seen quite a few comparisons to the more recent and more well-known Avatar: TLA.)
