Yeah, lots of extraneous elements on the current. Suggestion is better.
I can go with the suggestion.
(Annoyed grunt)What exactly is the suggestion? The link brings me to a page with tons of images.
I believe this◊ is the image in question.
6.1 is good for the "they look like they're 'sculpted from stone'" part of the trope without looking like a Cyborg or something.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyHere's◊ 6.1 not Wikia-bit, and a link to 6.2's source page. 6.1 is an improvement on the current for certain, but I think my suggestion being closer to a realistic human form and not so busy makes it a bit stronger candidate.
As an aside, this trope bugs me, as the name is ambiguous to the definition of the trope and makes me think of armor that intentionally mimics the human form, such as this◊ or this◊
What I get from the trope description is that it covers any inorganic body that's shaped like an organically grown one. The two extremes are (1) a completely smooth surface and (2) a rippled muscle-emulating surface. Perhaps we have to show both. What I am not sure about is if shaped armor counts as well.
