1.1 for the movie’s page, maybe the poster for ‘’Devil’’ for Evil Elevator? Pending other ideas, the imagery is certainly there.
Don't think Film.Devil illustrates as well for Main.Evil Elevator, and would argue for using either 1.1 for Main.Evil Elevator and 1.2 for Film.De Lift or the other way around; at least pending until something better illustrating Main.Evil Elevator comes along...
This◊ is the poster in question. It's pretty cool, but I think the hand crawling out of the lift like 1.1 is more straightforwardly evil.
The light in 4 forms an inverted cross, which sometimes is used by Satanists, if I'm not mistaken. But I don't think that that's common knowledge, and it's kinda hard to spot, so 1.1 would be a better option.
Spiral out, keep going.1.1 is better because it does not rely on symbolism to understand whereas the Devil one requires you to know something about Satanism and the misuse of the Petrine Cross to reference Satan rather than St. Peter.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty4 is creepy enough even without knowing the symbolism, but yeah 1.1 is much clearer.
1.1 for me.
(Annoyed grunt)1.2 for the work page, too.
Clock is set.
So... now the work page image of De Lift has been changed to a better version, but that version maybe is too similar to 1.1 so now we have to be more careful to avoid a duplicate image?
Will start a separate thread for the film page.

I may be confused, so sorry about that, but 1.1 isn't the same as the current on De Lift. Personally, I think it's different enough to not be an issue. (I'm still voting for 1.1.)
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI personally don't think it's close enough to be a dupe, but I could be wrong. Otherwise, we probably have enough consensus to go with 1.1?
Sorry, I'm unsure what exactly makes a dupe, and was erring on the side of caution. If it isn't a dupe, even better /easier :-)
The clock's way past due. So this and the thread for De Lift can be resolved, I've gone ahead and swapped in 1.1 and tagged the page. Locking up.

Illustrates well (the movie it comes from entirely is about this Trope), but shows the Italian poster, so the relevant text needs to be translated in the caption. But there exist English-language posters/DVD covers with the same quote, like these ones:
(also an image quality upgrade).
Also, the current Trope image borders on duplicate with the Work Page for De Lift itself. While we're at it, maybe we could also look at the De Lift image too—it's a kind of poor-quality scan of a DVD cover.
