Huh...I would've thought fixing her eyes was the issue.
Not that bad a fix, but yes, we can do better. Can't something from (or about) the Star Wars movies be located? They're a prime example and some (such as Young!Ghost!Anakin) are quite visually obvious.
^ That specific variation has its own trope: George Lucas Altered Version. Which, yes, uses Anakin as the page pic.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"After reading the trope descriptions, it seems the Anakin picture is actually a better fit for Orwellian Retcon than George Lucas Altered Version. A direct quote from the latter page:
"See also Orwellian Retcon, where the work is altered to fit with later works in the same story"
That description fits the Anakin picture to a tee, much better than any of the example changes listed in the George Lucas Altered Version description (since it's not correcting a special effect failure, improving sound quality, colorizing a black and white film, etc.).
I'd say we move the Anakin picture to Orwellian Retcon and find a new page image for George Lucas Altered Version.
^ Agreed.
Good points. I agree with 5.
Same here.
(Annoyed grunt)Clock is set.
I also agree with 5
The clock's up. I agree with the suggestion in 5, so the moves are made and both pages are tagged. Locking up.
Old pic for Orwellian Retcon:
Yeah, I have no idea what this image is trying to show. Scrolling down to the examples list reveals that the character is an example because of their voice, which is...not portrayed in the image. It just looks like the eyes refocused in the timeframe between the caps or something.
No alternate suggestions, but surely we can do better (or at least agree on BUPKIS).
