Suggestion: Whos On First

This might be a little easier to get among our younger readers (and/or ones who don't remember their chemistry so well) than the current:

I have to say, as much as I like the current, the suggestion in the OP made me laugh out loud, literally.

I think this page may need an image links page.

OP is good.

I dunno...as good as the OP is, the variety of the current's gags makes me lean slightly toward it.

I think they're equally good, so I would lean slightly towards the current just because it's the current. Keep until a better image is suggested, not an equally good one. It would definitely be good for Image Links though.

OP is also easier to digest for the average reader. Current leans on Genius Bonus a bit too much for its own good.

That's the tipper for me. The current is a little bit of a reach, because most times that I've heard, people don't say the chemical abbreviations as words, they say the individual letters — "N-A" or "N-O", not "nah", or "no"

The suggestion is a single joke, while the current is more of a routine. The trope is about the latter.

This is pretty split. Should we have a crowner?

I prefer the current, too, because first — science! and also I think that there are many page pics from the Simpsons franchise on the wiki already.

I know. I helped get rid of some of them.

And that's just counting where I succeeded. There are probably even more Simpsons images I considered bad images for which consensus agreed to keep them. If the show provides a disproportionate number of good images, so be it. Let's focus on scrapping the worst ones, instead of rejecting the best ones.

But the current relies on chemistry knowledge that isn't taught until 9th grade (and often isn't retained by students anyway) while both meanings of "hail" are probably taught earlier than that.
