Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god holy crap holy crap THIS TRAILER.
Ladies and gents I give you the Asgardians of the Galaxy.
And because a little immaturity now and then keeps you young,' Ass-Guardians'.
Heh.
Ha!
This is the first Thor movie I've been excited for. I hope it does well as I like the characters, I just rank the Thor films lower than I do others. With Dark World being at the bottom because I've seen it multiple times and yet I still remember almost nothing from it.
Improving as an author, one video at a time."I'm not a queen, or a monster. I'm the goddess of death."
Oh Cate, Cate, Cate. How I love you so.
"Hulk like raging fire, Thor like smoldering fire."
Cut to Hulk fighting the freaking Balrog of Morgoth.
We have come so far from the Ang Lee version.
Reminds me of that horrible Thor game in 2011.
"You fight bravely until the end. But Assguard is lost..."
Mileena MadnessSo it looks like Thor will merely internalize Mjilnor's powers rather than have it rebuilt.

Oh. Oh no. They didn't. Tell me they didn't really miss that?
One Strip! One Strip!I just noticed Hogun is very briefly seen. This probably won't end well for the Warriors 3.
Hogun was barely in the last Thor, either.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm still kinda bummed there's no Sif in this one, but I guess it really couldn't be helped with schedules and all.
Plus Clancy Brown is the voice of Surtur. That makes up for it and then some.
Second MCU character he's played.

And 800 millionth comic character he's played overall.
Her actress indicated she'll show up in some capacity. Probably a small part (maybe the Asgardian warriors help Thor fight Hela's army at the end?)

I mean the previous two films barely used the Asgardian cast (which has been one of the biggest complaints about them actually). So why would they start now?
Sit has done more in Agents of Shield than in Thor to be frank.
One Strip! One Strip!Sit, the goddess of sit. If it fits, she sits.
Yeah Sif has gotten more to do, and more character focus/development, in two episodes of the SHIELD TV show, than she has through three Thor films. And poor Hogun was written out of TDW after like two minutes of screentime.
Yeah these movies have been pretty disappointing thus far in that regard, especially in comparison to a lot of the other Marvel stuff. "Wasted potential" sums it up pretty nicely.
But why would we want Sif and the Warriors Three when we could have Natalie Portman and her Wacky Sidekick. And her Wacky Sidekick's Wacky Sidekick. And Selvig running around Stonehenge naked. That's what we really want to see, right? Right?

"In 900 years of time and space I've never met anyone who wasn't important."...FUCKING AUTOCORRECT!!!!!
I had no problem with Natalie Portman (only just found out recently people apparently don't care for her), and had no problem with her wacky sidekicks.
I also thought Eric Selving was pretty funny...even if his insanity was caused by being possessed for weeks. Not sure why Hawkeye seemed to tank it better, but I guess he just found a better outlet via avenging...and his wife.
One Strip! One Strip! With Ragnarok going full Jack Kirby, it makes sense to show the unknown.
Not gonna lie, I wish they could find some use for Jane and Darcy. I loved that she was a FOR THE SCIENCE! lady, and Darcy is hilarious.
They really could have done great things with them. They just spent too much time trying to set up some sort of epic romance with Jane and Thor, which didn't work. The first movie wasn't so bad, but Dark World barely gave her anything except being the MacGuffin.
I thought her portal things were really cool.
I don't think the human characters were as terrible as people think, but they were sort of a symptom of the biggest problem with the first two movies, which is that way too much of them took place on Earth.
I was perfectly okay with that in the first movie because fine, the audience needs human viewpoint characters to understand these alien gods. Cool. I can live with that. But there was no reason for them to still have such a big role in the sequel.
Ragnarok cutting loose and just going full on Jack Kirby is the shit we should have gotten a long time ago.

this combat is perfect for loki: if Hulk punch Thor, he will seen is annoying brother get a peg down, if is the other way around them he see that green brute who humilliate at avenger get kick down.
Yeah, he is really going to enjoy this.
