Fire Emblem Heroes

Pulled just the free one, as well, as I don't have a huge investment in getting any additional brave heroes. Of course, when pulling red on the vague chance of an Eirika, +Atk/-Res Brave Roy shows up. Not the most optimal and not an Eirika, but still not a bad deal. He'll be chewing this TT to pieces alongside Brave Ike, anyway.

Really happy that Bike is a 40% bonus unit for this TT since I have a decent one, plus it means easier grinding.

Also because I haven't been able to pull anything decent from the repeat Brave Warriors banner or get any of the Farfetched Heroes. Okay that's technically a lie — I got a Rein, but I already have an optimized one.

Hilariously funny problem with being +Atk during training: killing stuff too fast. A lot of the enemies that I'd want to get easy Galeforces off of end up getting one-shot by Roy, leading to a lot of moments that could have been if only he'd been weaker. >.> Oh, well, only 1100 EXP to 40 and then I doubt I'll have that problem with the beefy Tempest enemies.

i'd imagine the only solution is equipping Quickened Pulse on Roy just for training.

I'll tell you soon if 4950 is enough to stay in tier 20. I had about 180 dueling crests, so I figured spending them to pick good enemy scores was as good a use as any. My average is 704-706 and I had two 4936 runs this week, so I decided to pick only 706+ enemies (except for the last one where I picked a 702).

With the four extra merges I have for the next 80k feathers my average should eventually become enough to stay there without that trick, but I don't really see what other uses my crests have, so...

What's your current ranking? It might be tight, but it should probably stay, seeing as how 4942-4944 was about the border last week and there hasn't been any major shake-ups to push the average higher faster lately. Of course, once the weapon refinery hits in a couple weeks, that's gonna go right out the window.

I think there are about 600 people behind me in the tier.

Not sure how refinery will affect it, most builds can't really afford to switch to a refined weapon, no matter the stat bonus. Mages and Braves make up about 70% of the enemies encountered.

Upper Tier 20 has some really weird stuff going on with melee for maximizing score, as even optimized mage +10s don't score enough to get more than one slot (and at the very top, they're gone entirely). Of particular interest will be the effective armour weapons, Lightning Breath+ (Now, Fae, Y!Tiki), the Slaying stuff (Amelia) and Berkut's Lance+ (Effie). The top end is going to be pushing all of these to compete with each other, so naturally, those of us at the low-mid edge of the tier are going to start feeling the inflation (especially since some of us in the mid-level are running one or more of those units and can get half-ass boosts to our score).

I assume the Wo Dao will be there too. But while it will change the top, I'm not sure how it will effect the entry of the tier. We'll see if the score by weapon changes, for starters.

For the few who deploy Draug, yeah, there will probably be some Wo Dao+. Inflation at the top cascades down, even if the effects may be much lower at entry level. The top will change a lot. Those just outside the top will still be trying to compete, so they'll pick up what they can to boost their score. Anyone below them will need to do what they can to keep up and maintain their positions. End result is we see everything bumped forward a bit, like with the introductions of Brave Ike/Steady Breath and 240-SP-equivalent Sacred Seals.

Does anyone else here tend to imagine how some of your teams interact as a group, sometimes forming some of personal memes out of it?

A sort of example is how of one of my more reliable teams consisting of Eldigan, Lissa, Camus, and Berkut has me imagining some hijinks along the lines of Lissa being a Reverse Harem protagonist to the point where I even gave up on replacing her with a mounted healer because I can't see anyone else in her place.

I will neither confirm nor deny that I enjoy making teams around my OT Ps.

My core is The Hero / The Kirk Palla, The Lancer / The Spock Cordelia, and The Chick / The McCoy Spring Camilla. At the moment they are joined by Tagalong Kid Nowitch.

Together, they fight a losing war against the domination of the horsemen.

Though I need for Sumia and Sophie to be added, so my B-Team can become the "Mount Appreciation Society" with Hinoka and Cherche.

To me it's Sonya and her boy-toy Alphonse (he has S-support with her, so he's beside her at all times) going on constant double dates with Elincia and her psycho boyfriend Valter. There's also my secondary horse emblem, which has Camus confusing the names and marrying Titania instead of Tatiana, and Roy being into Priscilla despite the gen difference.

I imagine stories around.... mostly my Tempest Trial teams (manual and automatic), since these tend to stick together for a long time. I made up a story about Black Knight and Lachesis "teaming up" along with the new OTP Ephraim and Nino... with Lachesis missing being around BK when she's leading the autobattle team of Roderick, Narcian and Arvis.

I presently have... Valter and Felicia. He's impressed with her abilities with a knife and helps her become a better maid... by threatening to "savor" every time she spills something on him.

I have a quad-Lucina team and I like to imagine the other three genuinely believe "Marth" is a good disguise and try to keep up the illusion despite absolutely no one else being convinced.

Ephraim started drinking after he lost Eirika to Nino, so he rebounded to Tharja on Robin's recommendation. Nowadays he's Tharja's boytoy, errand boy, and human shield for her. To this day he's still not sure whether he's happy or not. Hector was very uncomfortable with the situation, so he eventually tagged out for Amelia, who believes in their love and supports them 100%.

Amongst other things, in my roster:

• Black Knight has taken to become Julia's guardian, even after Arvis comes around.
• Without Deirdre, Sigurd's heart falls on the cavalrywoman of the plains, Lyn. Maybe it's the green hair.
• Arden comes to share a mutual bond with Amelia. He's no longer slow now.

I have Julia and Marth (Masked) partnered up and I like to think they have a nice strong bond of friendship.

Oh man, I have to come up with some stories of my own.

I have ayra being the brave frontliner to the bumbling trio of rein, brave Lyn, and dorcas

Any guesses to what seals are going to be the next Tempest Trials? I'm banking on Wrathful Staff and Close Defense.

They will utterly demolish the meta with Quick Riposte and Triangle Adept or Fury.
