The page is kinda dull without a page image, so... Something like a thing or a person that is appropriate for a steadfast change would do

I'll start. The "100 Years of Beauty" series, notably the first video always comes in my mind with this trope. If there are any suggestions with, say older than 1910, let me know.

[up] That's not bad; a few screencaps from that would work fine, I think.

It's too bad the quality of this is pretty crappy.

Beauty standards change, but beauty itself is forever.

[up]Have you checked the video, or anything related to that on Dailymotion or Vimeo?

^ That's very good, but for some reason I think there should be a more specific Sub-Trope for hair styles. Maybe a Missing Supertrope to '80s Hair, '90s Hair, etc.?

@Willbyr. Nope. None from Vimeo and the ones from Dailymotion are also SD as the ones from Youtube.

I found this one pretty cool. Not sure how to work that at wiki size though.

Very interesting...I like it a lot, but it'll definitely need a caption explaining the various dances.

I added a second version with less examples but approx year numbers. The dance styles are beyond my knowledge.

I like the small labels.

I have a FB friend who's an avid dancer...I'll get in touch with her and see what she can tell me about the various dances.

EDIT: Okay, best guesses since they're all melded together. 1925 is the Charleston, 1945 is Swing, 1965 is the Shake(?), 1985 is the "Beat It" dance, 1995 is "Vogue", and 2015 is...whatever.

[up][up][up]Fashion-wise, what they're wearing for the Charleston dance is early 1930s, for Swing is 1950s, for the Shake-thingy is late 1960s, for the 'Beat it' Dance is more New Romantic early 80s (think of David Bowie and Boy George), for Vogue is more early 90s rave (Brits didn't wear grunge), and for the last one is very very 2011.

Do women still wear stripper pumps/platform stilettos now?
