It's weak, but it works well enough to be a KUBUS case for me. I can't find a good pic of a Death Trooper alongside a stormtrooper, so maybe a crop of this◊, captioned "Death Troopers: Because the Empire sometimes needs to actually shoot someone."?

Getting a "403: Forbidden" on that link.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested
It's one of those links where you have to drag the URL into a new tab (instead of just clicking on it) for the pic to show up. I think it looks more like a Heavily Armored Mook rather than this trope, though.
@2: The closest image I can find of a Death Trooper being in the same vicinity as a standard stormtrooper is this◊.

Agreed, that does look more like Heavily Armored Mook.
6 could work
I will concede that I am not a great judge of what is obvious when it comes to things like Star Wars. Do the Red Guards look elite enough while still giving off a mook vibe?
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.^ Too busy
Those red guards present a bit of a problem in that they also overlap with Praetorian Guard. Better to keep those separate.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"^ & ^^ Fair enough on both counts.
While I think 6 is better than the current and better than nothing, my concern is that if you aren't a fan of the series there is nothing to indicate that the guys in black armor are more elite than the guys in white armor.
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.I agree that the current should be pulled, though. I have no idea how it indicates this trope as opposed to the Big Bad or The Dragon addressing one of his mooks. The difficulty with showing this trope is that there probably needs to be some sort of contrast with the rank and file mook like the black stormtroopers vs white stormtroopers.
Like if you wouldn't know the story, there's nothing really indicating that say, the Immortals aren't regular (albeit scary-looking) mooks. Some othr ideas: 1, 2, 3◊. Though some of those may end up looking more like Mook Lieutenant.
ETA: Speaking of which, the pic on Mook Lieutenant isn't very good either. It's poor quality, the stormtroopers are barely visible and blend into the background, and at first I thought it was implying Vader to be a Mook Lieutenant, who is in fact The Dragon. Why is he even there?

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Not bad.
Now that I know Mook Lieutenant exist, maybe we can use the suggestion in @6 for that instead? The mooks in question are more visible (I can barely see the Stormtroopers at first glance) and Krennic is more obviously their commander.
The image should also show a standard mook for comparison.
^^ I think Krennic looks more like a Big Bad figure in that shot. For Mook Lieutenant I'd say someone like Captain Phasma would be a better pick, since she's basically dressed like a stormtrooper, just a more important one.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Alternatively, Super Battle Droids... also from Star Wars.
17 is a great illustration, but doesn't Phasma answer directly to Kylo Ren, making her more of a Mook Lieutenant?

That suggestion is for Mook Lieutenant, whose image is also being contested.
I like the Phasma pic for Mook Lieutenant.
17 for Mook Lieutenant
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.Isn't the Super Battle Droid pic being used on another page?
^It is reasonably similar to Mecha-Mooks
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.
