It kind of would work, though I'm not sure if well enough.
It's kinda hard for one image to display anyone's anti-heroeness, but what about the team of Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Punisher
◊? Wolverine and Punisher at least are fairly well-known anti-heroes, and their outfits should make it clear they're not traditional heroes even to those who don't know the characters.

Edit: well other than knowing they're heroes but I can't think many examples more well known.

Would a picture of the squad from Suicide Squad work? I don't know if it is more suited for Villain Team-Up
My only issue is they might look like straight up villains.
