So, I'm looking for songs about resurrection, but there are only three that I know of right at the moment. "Rise Lazarus Rise" by Rufus Rex, "Body in Revolt", also by Rufus Rex, if you subscribe to the theory that the song is about resurrection from the formerly dead's point of view, and "Wake the Dead" by Creature Feature. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Well, there's the obvious horror-themed stuff like "Pet Sematary" by Ramones and "Night Of The Living Dead" by Misfits. Then there's "Turkish Song Of The Damned" by The Pogues that tells a tale of a cursed sailor that can only lay to rest once he's found the one who left him to die in a shipwreck. Ween's "Cold Blows The Wind" is a much sadder take on the theme, where a deceased young man's corpse comes back to see his lover. Faith No More's "From The Dead" is quite oblique and probably metaphorical, as well as one of the few upbeat examples that I know, as well as "Zomby Woof" by Frank Zappa. And there's also Oingo Boingo's "Dead Man's Party", which is either about that or about becoming a ghost.

Nonsense is better than no sense at all.

Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.

Michael Gira uses a lot of resurrection imagery in his lyrics, both with Swans and Angels of Light. In his earlier Swans work it's part and parcel with his fascination with religious imagery, but his Angels of Light work that touches on that particular concept—"New City in the Future", "My Suicide", "Forever Yours"—uses it in a more romantic (or ironically romantic) context: To be raised up and transformed, etc.
