January, eh… That's plenty of time for the manga to get ahead. It's nice that they're not rushing this. It's really weird to see a series you've followed from the start get there so quickly.

An early raw is out. Pepe joins the battle, and Emma basically takes advantage of the fact that Leuvis reads all of their movements to lure him into an trap, but he escapes it. His mask is destroyed by Noname at the end.

I demand that Leuvis is voiced by Joji Nakata in the anime.

Nice. People on Twitter have recognized Morohoshi Sumire for Emma, Kugimiya Rie for Norman and Ise Mariya for Ray. Don't know how accurate this is though.

Also, the studio will be Cloverworks, which is a branch of A1 Pictures, apparently. Not sure how to feel about that − A1 is the last studio I imagined adapting a thriller-horror series.

Seems like there'll be a character popularity poll to celebrate the anime… Seems a bit pointless, as there aren't that many important characters to rank. Emma, Ray, Norman, Izabella, Krone, Noname, Lucas, Sonju and Musica, Bayon and Leuvis. Maybe Don and Gilda. And that's about it.

Geez. Author did great job of giving nightmare face to an already inhuman creature ._.

I'm starting to think those masks aren't actually for protection.

Yep, he's fucking terrifying all right. That Oh, Crap! moment when you realize the monkey's watching was also gold.

Now that I think of it, even if they do manage to kill Lewis and escape Goldy Pond… there's still a forest full of monsters waiting for them outside. And they have several people wounded already. Seems like a similar pinch as the escape from Grace Field… I don't think they can use the village as a hideout for very long either, since there must still be demons at Bayon's castle who'll find it weird that he isn't coming back.

Emma is such a shonen hero.

The Cloverworks thing was just a rumor. No actual anime studio has been announced for the series.
