Snyopsis Aquaman is torn between keeping the peace of the EVEEEEL humans who pollute and the sea dwellers ready to retaliate.
Well we did just install a guy who doesn't believe in climate change as the head of the EPA, so that doesn't sound very far off.
Which sounds like something out of a Bad Future episode of Captain Planet instead of real life. But unfortunately it is real life.
I'm fine with Aquaman using the negative impacts humans have had on the ocean ecosystem as a point of conflict between humans and the Atlantians. It does run the risk of being anvilicious, but there are probably going to be extremists and moderates on both the human and Atlantian sides.
Yeah of all the things to complain about with the DCEU, I'm somewhat puzzled by this one. Aquaman having a Green Aesop is nothing new.
Since when has a big budget film with a Green Aesop ever been good?
Studio Ghibli, WALL-E, a lot of Kaiju movies including Pacific Rim, and while I didn't love the story Avatar did extremely well at the box office. It's been done.

Like I said that seems like an odd thing to complain about for Aquaman of all people.
Aquaman gets a new release date of December 21, 2018
It is now releasing on the same day as the animated Spider-Man movie from director's Phil Lord and Chris Miller at Sony.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure........That's certainly a casting choice.
Never heard of the character before, but Lundgren is an interesting addition. He's somewhat stereotyped as a poor man's Schwarzenegger, but he's made a comeback in the last few years playing slightly more interesting characters. Most recently he had quite the turn in Arrow. It helps that he is quite a big guy, he has an inch or two over the also very tall Jason Momoa.
I recently rewatched the Justice League intro at Comic-Con and got to thinking how the entire cast certainly has the Heroic Build going for them. Affleck, Momoa and Fisher are all like 6'4 and well muscled. Miller and Gadot are also relatively tall. Compared to the MCU, their biggest guy is Hemsworth at 6'3, then Evans at 6'0 and everyone else like 5'8 and below.
"It helps that he is quite a big guy"
- bane boice* for you
So a intersting adiccion to the cast, now this movie is finally getting my atention
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Looks like the Trench will appear.

Ludi Lin, the Black Ranger from Power Rangers (2017), has joined the film. He'll be playing Murk.

would have liked to see him play Garth but happy for him nonetheless
I'm normally not one to say stuff like this but Hot Damn! She looks gorgeous and the outfit is a blend of the more armored Justice League look and the skin tight comics outfit.
The shot itself is also nice, her hair is obviously wet but you can also see water dripping from her hands. You know, most movie comic book costumes aren't designed to get wet but that had to be a factor in their design for this movie.
