Original picture has four different colours. All of those are basically a single colour with an extra off-colour glint at the bottom.
I agree it could be larger though.

The suggestions are pretty good, but I think the old pic is a little more striking.
1, 2 and 4 images in links yes. The multicolored eyes are a symptom of those affected by or are a phantom in Myriad Colors Phantom World and those characters are phantoms.
The uploaded one and 3 I am not sure, I got it from the examples, googling other characters though make it look like its unique to her though and the manga had the off color as a completely different color.
Not sure if the old image is even an example of that third paragraph. Although I don't know why that is so important really, someone with uniquely drawn and colored eyes in general should be fine I would think.
Edit: Actually reading the series's' example on Exotic Eye Designs the old image fits there and not here.

What about several pics of the different styles? Like say combine [1] + that one. 13 is extremely non-standard though.

The new one might be considered an improvement, but I'm not sure weirdly shaped pupils aren't an entirely different trope already.
Edit: Exotic Eye Designs was brought to my attention. Same character here, in fact; the pic on Technicolor Eyes can be considered a duplicate as well, making it a poor illustration.
