Suggestion: Bungling Inventor

This◊ image for Bungling Inventor didn't get enough consensus in the suggestion thread. As alternate suggestions:

The Pokémon example seems to be the weakest, as it relies heavily on context. Could be improved by showing the invention about to blow up, or something.

The Bunsen one's my favorite of the bunch.

Ironically, the Pokemon example shows the bungling the best, but not the inventor. The others have the opposite problem.

I like 1.1.

Don't get anything from 1.3 either. 1.1 works.

Throwing my hat in for 1.4, though I agree that none are great.

I find 1.4 about as illustrative as 1.3. That is, not nearly enough.

I think 1.4 shows the inventor aspect, but not so strong with the "bungling". 1.3 has the exact opposite issue (it shows a bunch of bungling idiots with no clear indication that any of them are inventors)
