JIL Cabin

"So... A space colony that somehow got deserted and you all live here, in which there's all you can find an at peak of technology, where there's even arboriculture and stuff? ...Are you sure there's not a catch? Like, the place was build over an indian facehugger cemetary a cold night of Friday the 13th during Halloween?"

"Oooh... That's pretty good Kyerine! It only need some small tweaking until it resembles a bit more the image of a DNA string~"

She seems to be all sweet and smiley at the kids and serious and almost awkward with the adults...

Blackwell-Brandt Cabin

Chris makes an extremely disgruntled expression, squirming within Peter's grasp and pouting, "哎呀,我的耳朵流血..." his lip quivering. As he hears Greg's remark, he snuggles back down into Peter's lap, Alright, alright, we'll be good.

VRM Cabin

Zsolt gives Val a Bear Hug in return, briefly lifting him off the ground, chuckling at his response to his greeting, and noting Rakiri's reaction, "Heh, I know it's been a while, but at least give us a chance to chat first before you're shoving us all in bed together." he pats Rakiri's shoulder, "It's nice to meet you too, kid. Good to see you don't letting these two shove you around too bad. What's your story?"

After setting him down, Zsolt snags one of each type of wrap and gives them a brief sniff before taking a bite of the Alotos version, "Haven't had these in a while. My da's were better, but these aren't so bad." he says, taking a seat. His ears twitch slightly as he picks up on Mitch chatting with Dom, but he chooses not to comment on it beyond a slight frown as he pieces it together with his avoidance of eye contact.

Setting the wrap and a half on his lap, he reaches down and removes his leg as Mitch finally looks at him, setting it on the seat beside him, "I'd like to say same shit, different uniform, but... it's really not, ya know? Things are pretty stable here. Things are quiet. Even most of the emergencies are pretty low-key. Granted, I did get to help out with a pretty catastrophic crash-landing today. What a coincidence that happens just as you guys get here. How about all of you?"

Cernunnos

As Amos gets the pod open and he hears Tor growl in pain, Cor spins about and full on grabs the oncoming blade with the hand that bears the rune, grimacing in pain as it slams into his flesh, but not nearly as far as it seemingly should. The now broken rune turns a deep and pulsating crimson color, as does the sigil behind Mira, "Not my husband, you bitch..." he growls, turning his hand directly at her as both symbols blast forth powerful electromagnetic pulses.

Reinhardt Cabin

Byron quickly finishes up his character sheet and scooches closer to Duncan and leans his head on his shoulder to peek at his sheet, "What do you think about giving him green hair and a bunch of scars? Everybody's gotta have green hair in this sorta thing, don't they? What sorta powers are you thinking of giving him?" he asks him while reaching over to tickle the bottoms of his feet.

Snowdrift Woods

Mike and Torvahk may note a rustling in a nearby bush.

LIJ Cabin

Eyala turns her head toward Izzie, simultaneously checking out her impersonation of her back, "It looks just fine to me. I'm honestly kinda envious of Pałavon exoskeletons. It's pretty close to the point where we need full body suits just to survive anywhere but Alba, and even there a simple hug or handshake between friends could end up being debilitating for us."

Nebris also turns to Izzie, "Does bright light hurt your eyes, then?"

Lex looks Kyerine's sculpture over, clearly impressed, then nods to Izzie, "He was an AI engineer. I doubt if there's anywhere better to learn about it than your world. I'd love it if you would show me around once we get there, Izzie." she says with a slight smile.

Mike makes a proud smirk as Torvahk watches him in awe, obviously pleased with himself. "No - I'm not a true shapeshifter. I can only switch between a few preset forms stored in my biometrics implant, and change some colors, like for my hair or eyes. Still, I would've thought you've at least seen genetic engineering that's half as good as ours, since you liberally use miniaturized cold fusion." He alludes to Torvahk's fusion cannon, even though he couldn't have seen it in person.

He's finishing butchering the animal when he hears a rustle. In the blink of an eye, he reaches for his bow and draws an arrow, before he relaxes. "I'll check that out." With his bow still in his hand, he jogs towards the trees where he heard the sound.

Blackwell-Brandt Cabin

"Hey, don't blame me. Chris started it." Peter transmits, mentally petting both of his boyfriend's hair. He focuses back on the game, laying down slightly to nuzzle against Chris' broad back as they play.

Lex, Jiko & Izzie's Cabin

"Actually, there was one, though I'm not sure if it really counts. Some slavers got their hands on the ship for a little while before we took it over. They never got to make much out of it, though." Izzie says to Camélia as she finishes her drink.

"Was." She repeats quietly, before minding herself and getting back on topic. "I'm pretty sure Amos would object to that statement, but yeah, we're one of the best." She smiles back to Lex.

"Not really. We're slightly more sensitive to light than humans, but the difference isn't significant." She explains to Nebris. "We can also see a bit further into the red end of the color spectrum."

"I'm sure you could genetically modify yourselves to reduce your sensitivity, or even develop some kind of tissue weave to do it at will. Are there any objections to genetic engineering in Alba?" She asks as she washes her cup over the sink.

Mitch, Val & Rakiri's Cabin

Val grunts joyfully as Zsolt lifts him up and squeezes him before settling down. "I'm just joking, dear." Val brushes the back of Rakiri's hair as they sit down.

"Yes, they're not quite as authentic. I think somebody figured they could make more profit if they modified what they have with the Kirina kind and sell more variations." Dominic comments on the wraps.

"Yeah, it's been pretty low-key for us, too. Small missions, lots of downtime. I'd say it's almost like a vacation." Mitch smiles wistfully, easing himself into the conversation yet unable to stop reminding himself of why he's here in the first place.

“Not for much longer. I’m starting to put together a mission thanks to a few of my agents and contacts. I still need more details, however, so you don’t need to worry about it until we’re off the resort.” Dominic announces to everyone.

“I think that sums it up. I don't think I've heard about this mission, though. Where is it going to be?” Val nods in agreement. “Oh, that actually sounds pretty bad. Did everyone make it out?” He asks about the crash.

"Vandal Station." Dominic answers offhandedly.

Mitch takes a sharp breath when he sees Zsolt taking off his prosthetic leg. "Does... does it hurt?" He asks, even though he already knows the answer is no, having similar cybernetics himself.

As Mike approaches the bush in question, the rustling grows more and more intense until out of the bushes pops an agitated peacock head that Mike can probably sense has ties to Byron. Its ear piercing scream emphasizes its annoyance at being disturbed.

"Hmm...I dunno. I kinda feel like I'd be blatantly ripping someone off if I did that for some reason..." Duncan trails off in thought. "So, let's go with blue!" He grins, filling it in on the sheet.

At the question of powers, he thinks again. "Actually, making him part kojin sounds like it's be cool. Then he'd be deadly on both land and sea."

Mitch, Val, and Rakiri's Cabin (we really should have just numbered all these damn cabins)

"Kid...? I'm pretty sure I'm older than you in like, physical years existed." Rakiri remarks. Sometimes the contradictory nature of his age was a huge pain. "And my story? Well...I mean, I'm honestly not doing much of interest at the moment. I was working as a bounty hunter, but...ended up befriending the person I was supposed to take away, so...I dunno. Kinda between jobs, I guess?" He says with a shrug.

As he explains himself to Zsolt, he instinctively glances over to Dom as he references a particular place. "Did you say...Vandal Station?"

Christopher looks confused but nods strongly. "Okay!" Going and lifting the basket and quickly looking around before setting off to start put the various pieces of clothing back; assuming the Captain is following along that is.
Given the boy’s already chosen a bunch of stuff he likes and is mostly suitable the process of getting him stuff won’t be that difficult; the only thing left to figure out is the size. A process which can be greatly sped up by checking the labels on little Christopher’s current attire instead of just pure trial and error. (something he didn’t think of)

The boy is being fairly precocious trying to act diligently and well behaved, helping out every way he can think; trying to make the situation as quick as possible; he seems to be excited to go share the donus with the others.

Kyerine grins at the attention and compliment his model was given, responding to Camélia cheerfully. "I dunno much about Biology still but i'm glad you think it's good!" Looking up at it as he stands up himself, still wrapped in the blanket around himself.
It seems he was feeling quite a bit better now; his core temperatures up to a safe level again for the Rhyshan lad.

Leaving his hardened chocolate sculpture where it is he willl wander over to Lex and try in a bouncing manner try to catch her attention properly for a moment before he'll call up to her. "Thank you for carrying Kyerine inside. -And it not Lex's fault Kyerine got cold."

He is interrupted by MIRA launching a bolt of of plasma across the room at the pair. ”Stop..”

Thirteen just sticks out his left, still working weak arm as circuits all over his body and skin start glowing through his malnourished body and gaps in the clothing; causing a single cracked green barrier shard to appear and absorb the blow while he continues to talk.    ”Synchronization protocol is functional, it could allow you to defeat her. "Anything has fusion cold to do with engineering genetic?" Torvahk asked, not fully understanding the nature of Mike's question regarding subjects that he might not have understood that well, but at least figured they were two very different fields of study. A few moments of wondering later, he would then ask, "Wait you...gun mine talk about you? Know how you—-?" Whatever he would have added next would be interrupted by the unexpected sight and shriek of the peacock, prompting Torvahk to instinctively draw his rifle and aim it at the creature. While he attempted to analyze what parts of the creature could be considered a critical points to shoot at (accurately deducing the head as a starting point), he paused to make note of its avian creatures and how rather...poorly suited it was for Riva's frigid climate.

"Alive creature how? Frozen would be..." Torvahk wondered aloud, unconsciously lowering his weapon as he took note of the fake eyes on the peacock's tailfeathers. For a brief second he almost thought they were real, until he noticed how they never blinked...along with how off the details were compared to real eyes.

Mike initially frowns at Torvahk's question, once again having to remind himself that the two of them have different priorities in mind. "It seems like weird technological progression. We're so good at genetics that we've turned it into an industry, but the basics aren't that complicated - certainly less so than what it'd take to achieve cold fusion. I'd expect such a society to also have at least cured major genetic diseases in its population." He elaborates.

"It's in your file." He says offhandedly like it's an obvious, throwaway factoid. "Dominic's been keeping tabs on everyone, and now I'm joining in - we're spies, after all. Yes, I'm writing all this down as we speak. No, we're not going to use it against you unless we feel the need to." He travels a little further, briefly wincing from the shrill before he creates a muffling effect around himself, then finally encountering Byron's creation.

“It’s a peacock, and it’s Byron’s.” He reaches out with the tip of a wing, twirling his fingers. He spins an air cocoon around the peacock, making it easier to carry while having the convenient side effect of silencing it. "I think now would be a good time to head back." He suggests.

Cor rips a sleeve from his shirt and uses it to bind his injured hand, " I'm glad you recognise we're here to help you, but are you well enough to do that?" He asks, unable to hide a tone of paternal worry, holding his sword aloft in his off hand in case of a negative.

LIJ Cabin

Lex shudders a bit at the mention of the slavers, "Yeah, I try not to think about those days too much. Merrick and I were both part of the original crew, and once the slavers arrived he barricaded himself in the med bay and I did the same in the library. We talked telepathically a lot, and probably got kinda sick of each other. Troperia kept us company and had drones bring us some food and water. I think the only reason we survived is because the slavers were terrified of us. I managed to sneak out while they were parked at a space dock and tried making a break for it, but ran into you guys instead. Kinda lucky for me."

Eyala looks dumbstruck at Lex's story.

"It was a while ago, I'm mostly over it."

Beat

"So the slavers were uh... what happened to them?"

"Honestly, I don't know, and I don't care if they survived or not. This new crew is more than fine with me."

She turns back to Izzie, "Heh, he can object all he wants to, I'd love a friendly debate. I might be a little biased due to our cultures having a lot of philosophies in common and both having telepathy of a sort, though."

As Kyerine runs up to her, she gently pats him on the head, "It was no trouble at all. I'm glad you're feeling better." She tells him with a gentle smile.

Lex runs her fingers through the long crimson hair cascading from her scalp, "I, on the other hand, thought I had lovely black hair til someone told me otherwise. Still not entirely convinced I don't and that you aren't all imagining this 'red' thing." She says with a clearly joking smirk.

Nebris gives the fuzzy librarian a strange look at this, but decides not to comment on it, instead pondering what Izzie says about her eyesight, "I'm glad the sunlight doesn't hurt, at least. Does that make me extra pink, then?" her voice betraying that she finds this idea amusing.

Eyala nods to Izzie, "We have some scientists looking into that, mostly on Hestia and Kira. Progress is slow, from everything I've heard, but they're getting somewhere."

MRV Cabin

Zsolt's eyes brighten as Dom mentions a new mission, "What sorta rust bucket you guys roaming around in these days? Is there an extra bunk or two, or would I have to share?" he asks while chuckling.

As Mitch asks about his leg, he gently takes his hand and moves it over to feel the flesh of his stump, hoping it'll help demystify it for him, "It's a little ticklish, and I sometimes have phantom sensations, but there's no pain. Not anymore at least..." he says, patting the back of Mitch's hand, "I, uh, I can run by the house and get a couple things if you wanna go over them in a bit. Just odds and ends that I found on my ship after...after I left. Some of your old clothes, Mitch, some of yours too, Val, actually. Some knickknacks. I wrote to the families of the people who died that day too, and I have their responses. Some of them might... help us clear a bit of air. A lot of air, actually."

He reclines back into the couch, sprawling his arms out in a leisurely fashion as he glances toward Rakiri, "Yeah, and a Kirina my age is still in school and has barely grasped their own grammar yet. Heh. I'd think you'd know that years mean zilch out here by now. A bounty hunter, now that's pretty interesting. What was said target turned friend exactly?"

Snowdrift Woods

The peacock squawks in disgust as Mike traps it in the air cocoon and it pecks repeatedly at the sides of its enclosure before finally settling down, though giving Mike and Torvahk the evil eye, periodically gazing back at the bush they'd extracted it from as if they'd interrupted its lunch.

Reinhardt Cabin

"Damn, they didn't shoot it.. That would have been funny." he says without providing context for Duncan.

Byron glances toward Duncan's blue haired shark man, seemingly amused, "I can't possibly imagine who you'd be ripping off, but alright." he chortles while repositioning himself to lay on his stomach, facing the game, "I wonder if he'll be offended or overjoyed that Shinji has 4 ranks in Profession (Itamae)."

"People mine, tech more had they before...destruction near..." Torvahk stated, too reluctant to elaborate further on what he was alluding to at the moment. When the alien heard that information was being collecting about him without his awareness nor consent, he couldn't help but feel perturbed initially...although he understood why and reasoned his people would probably do the same thing if any of them were on his planet, all for the sake of both security and a hint of scientific curiosity. It still didn't change the fact that he found Mike to be fairly egotistical when speaking both about himself and his people. To be fair, Torvahk could infer that there was solid backing behind most claims of superiority the Promethean could make, but it didn't make his ego any less insufferable at times.

"Information mine, have already you?" Torvahk wondered aloud, showing a hint of curiosity and irritation before adding, "Information mine, has else who? Captain? People yours?"

"Creature strange...from world yours?" Torvahk then asked after Mike managed to capture the Peacock with the air cocoon. While the Kahmandra was both surprised and amazed at Mike's strange ability, he found himself feeling less anxious around the alien. Afterall if he could fly, use air cocoons and shapeshift, Torvahk figured it wouldn't be that surprising if he suddenly burst into flames harmlessly or cloned himself...somehow.

"I see." Mike says offhandedly, having enough tact to avoid pressing the issue... for now. He gazes at Torvahk's multitude of reactions, drawing slight amusement from it - clearly this isn't the first time he's done such a thing. "Yeah. All the basics - anatomy, skills & abilities, background & psych profile, affiliations, the fact that you have a personal nuclear weapon. Nothing damning, really - it's not like we go as far as planting cameras in people's rooms... usually." The smirk he's trying to hide suggests he's gone further, indeed.

"We have intel on pretty much everyone on the ship, to varying extents. The captain, for example - not just because the captain, but also because he's a boyfriend of one of our latest experimental subjects on psionics, AGIs and oncosymbiotes, so classified that not even Dominic and Cristina knew about it. And he also turned out to be a descendant of a species that we though recently disappeared from their homeworld."

"Originally Terran, yes." He brings the peacock up to eye level. It's hard to tell whether he's staring it down or observing it closely - possibly both. "Now that you know about our methods, I'm afraid we'll have to wipe your mind and implant a control chip." He declares with a completely straight face for a long moment... before breaking into a shit-eating grin.

"...Huh. I thought you got there at the same time we did, or a little bit before. I didn't know you've been in the ship for much longer. You sure you couldn't have just busted your way through?" Izzie balls & pounds her fists lightly, expressing her desire to have helped Lex if she was there. Or just to fight. "Yeah. I probably should ask Amos if any of them or their AIs are telepathic. It also doesn't help that some of their tech works in completely different ways from ours, even though they were originally one with THETA. I guess five centuries of going down separate roads will do that." She chuckles as Lex jokes about the color of her hair.

"As far as I can tell, it's more that I see you as a different shade of pink." She says to Nebris, just holding herself back from starting an explanation on how the eye actually perceives color.

"Huh. I'd say they could probably speed it up, but it'll take a lot of convincing. Many of the scientists in Hestia tend to be more interested in their own business." She says to Eyala.

Mitch, Val & Rakiri's Cabin

"You're not that much older than him mentally, Zsolt." Dominic points out, sort of defending Rakiri's point. "And if anyone should be calling people 'kids', it should be me." He declares, dramatically stroking his grizzled beard. The presence of familiar people is definitely loosening him up, and he allows Rakiri to tell his perspective of the story.

"You might have to sleep in the arboretum." Val jokes. "There's more than enough room, and Greg takes stragglers from pretty much anywhere."

Mitch runs his fingers for a moment, learning brand new details of the person he's previously known intimately. He starts to relax quite a bit as he hears Zsolt is taking it quite well, and the lighthearted atmosphere is doing its job as well. He tells himself to bring some of his own levity, both to keep the conversation going and because he's starting to feel genuine relief from internalizing that Zsolt does not, in fact, hold anything against him. Misses him, in fact. "Aww, but you just got here. And Rakiri hasn't even told you his story. What kind of host would I be if you left? He manages to joke. "But... yes. After this, that would be nice."

Seeing Rakiri's interest piqued, Dominic turns to him. "Yes. It's a rather infamous den for all sorts of black market goods & services, to put it one way. Have you been there before?"

At Mike's warning, the peacock stiffens up and spreads its vast tail within the cocoon, currently upon which is broadcast the visage of Byron's face, a bit angry and speaking, though obviously silenced by his enclosure. If Mike attempts to read his lips, he'll likely notice that most of them are Venkratu curse words.

Mike's continued explanations about his activities and security protocols didn't do much in the way of easing Torvahk's mind (though he was well aware that was never the intention), however he could understand the necessity. He then recalled that because he was part of the Troperia's security, he would probably have access to most, if not at least some of these resources if they were implemented aboard the ship. The moment where Mike jokingly stated he'd need to wipe Torvahk's brain and implant a chip, the avian just stood there, staring intently at the human with a hidden facial expression, intending to create a false sense of tension before continuing toward the spaceport while shaking his head in disbelief.

Duncan starts, looking over to his brother and trailing off as he seems to be mouthing...something, not seeming to be directed at him or anyone in the room or that matter. "Uh...the hell are you doing? You get an imaginary friend or something that I don't know about...?"

Mitch, Val, and Rakiri's Cabin

Rakiri looks at Zsolt, rubbing his chin in thought. "He's an Echirean. Well, more like...an Echirean inside of a human. It's kind of a weird situation, yeah." he answers. "He's a good guy, though. Well, when his inner asshole doesn't decide to stick out."

He glances back over to Dominic, giving him a simple nod. "Yeah. I've been there before. A mission or two ended up landing me there for an extended period."

Cabin Plaza: Forest

The tall man in the green robes continues wanders in a bit of a haphazard line as he wanders through the forest of the cabin grounds. As he passes tree after tree, he raises a hand to each one briefly, as if taking the time to give each one a personal greeting.

Eventually, he comes across an area of woods where a rather resilient patch of grass and flowers sticks out of the snow, determined to persevere against the harsh weather. "Well, now. I have come across some resilient souls on this ball of snow and ice. How wonderful." He says, now approaching the flower patch to get a closer look.

Shopping Plaza: The Great Outdoors

Greg nods slowly at Christopher beforw following him and starting to pit the clothing back, still reeling a bit from the spontaneous Chinese battle he had to spectate in his head. As he hangs a shirt back up, he comes face to face with the tag on the back of the collar and blinks.

"...Oh right. Clothing tags tell the size, that's right. I forgot..." He says, scratching his chin a little before turning around. "Hey, Christopher, come here for a sec. I can check the tags on your clothes so we can get your size."

Gemini Nebula

Analytic Operator Bay

Tor is hurled back as MIRA's shield releases the electrical surge, but he lands on his feet, ready to charge back in. As the swords come at him, he channels his Essence through his arms, taking them head on. He raises his hands, swatting and deflecting the blows with his arms, though some do land glancing blows as they encircle him. "Why do I fight? You have to ask such a stupid question? Because we aren't going to just sit by and let you hurt and use people for your own gain." Tor says with conviction, releasing the Essence charged in his arms in a focused burst around himself, attempting to blast the swords away.

"Y-Yeah, that's right..!" Amos says in agreement, looking up to Cor as he speaks to Thirteen. He looks at the emaciated boy, also sharing his concern. He jumps slightly as MIRA launches an attack on them, and he calmly blocks it, still looking at Amos expectantly. He's silent for a moment, thinking hard about what he should do. He could hear the insistence and anger in the boy's tone and...he could feel it start to resonate with his own feelings. He looks up to Tor, able to see him starting to slow down a little from MIRA's assault. To Russell and Merrick both unconscious and at risk if she wasn't stopped. She needed to be stopped, and it needed to be now. "...Alright. Do it. Initiate the protocol." he says with a firm nod.

Izzie, Lex, and Jiko's Cabin

The universe, for one brief moment, coalesces in a great spiral that will almost certainly go unnoticed by anyone but the one person it affects - Kijo, as he comes to his senses from his most recent bout of space narcolepsy, with a vague awareness of what's been said and what's been done. He finds himself sitting with the group, and smiles somewhat awkwardly, but says nothing for the time being.

Translation - I'm back and will do my very best to keep up this time, and am deeply sorry for the off and on.

Cabin Plaza: Forest

The man approaches the flower patch, pausing as he reaches them and stabbing his staff into the snow next to him. He reaches up to his neck and begins to unfasten the buttons on his robe, pulling it off in a swift motion and revealing the form of a draconic man.

Two black horns jut out of the front of his best of green, almost grassy hair and an equally grassy beard decorates his chin. His largely exposed dark skin—visibly scaled in some places—easily contrasted the abundance of icy white around him and he wore not a stitch more of clothing than the embroidered loincloth drifting about his waist. He turned to his staff, throwing his robe over its top to keep it in place before he turns back to the flowers, crouching down next to them while his tail idly brushes up a bit of snow behind him. "...That is much better. It only makes sense for us to commune in our natural states. Anything else would be disrespectful." He says, with a satisfied smile, pressing his hands together in an almost prayer like fashion. "Now then..." He shifts to a sitting position, crossing his legs. The cold hardly seems to face him as the snow touches even more of his bare skin, and he soon slips into a state of quiet mediation.

JIL cabin

"My species evolved from a naturally psionic hivemind species, so our telekinesis primarily manifest as a rather complicated system of species-wide neutral networks along with more personal interpersonal relay systems." Lex says to Camelia. "As for the distribution of the less than wonderful people in the cosmos... I've never met a species that didn't have a good number of them. Nor have I ever met one that didn't have a greater number of astoundingly good people."

Lex chuckles at Izzie's suggestion, "Nah, that would have been far too easy. I prefer a fair fight." she kids with a wink. "It was a bit hard for me to get used to AI that wasn't telepathic once I left Kira. It's so ingrained in our culture that I got into a bit of a tiff with Troperia when she wasn't responding to my thoughts at first." she says with a bit of an embarrassed blush.

Seemingly noticing the return of Kijo's attention to the land of the living, she pats his shoulder, "Welcome back, dear." She then smiles to Kyerine as he describes how things work in his culture, "That's fascinating! I think the Jotnari have similar biotechnology, but for different reasons. I'm sure Merrick would love comparing how they work once he's back."

Eyala nods to Izzie's comment, "Our scientists there do sometimes have...difficulties getting assistance and funding for their projects. There have have a couple Hestian scientists we've convinced to help us out on the side, but I don't believe there's been much headway." she says with an exasperated sigh.

Snowdrift Woods - Near Theo

A mother and her young son, nearly finished with their walk through the woods when they rounds a bend in their trail and come face to face with naked dragon ass.

"Mommy, why he nakey? What he doing? He gon get cold." The little boy asks quietly, pointing toward Theo with a gloved hand. The mother glances toward the naked man and her eyes grow very wide as she picks up her son and starts walking briskly toward town.

Above Snowdrift Woods - Air Cocoon

After being basketballed, the peacock sways uneasily and raises its head in a long, silenced scream from within its container and the head portrayed on its tail fades away.

MRV Cabin

Zsolt chuckles, "If anything, the years have only made you look more distinguished and dashing, Dom. Don't worry."

A soft, contented smile passes over Zsolt's features as Mitch reacquaints himself with his features, "Excellent point, Mitch. Maybe I could invite you all over to my place later on and we can go over them then. I'd love to hear a story about one of your missions, Rakiri. Nothing beats a rousing tale, especially one concerning the less reputable corners of the cosmos. That's where all the fun happens."

He spares a quizzical glance towards Val, "Why the hell does your starship have an arboretum? Is the captain a botanist?"

Reinhardt Cabin

Byron shakes his head frantically to clear away the vertigo brought on by Mike telepathically bouncing him like a basketball and states toward Duncan, flushed in the face with embarrassment, ""Oh. I was doing that out loud?" He asks, leaning over to rest his head on his brother's arm to help him alleviate his headache, "As for imaginary friends, I have a handful of roughly foot tall ones with pink hats and no arms, but I think you're well acquainted with them already."

Riva, JIL Cabin

Seeing how the rest mostly talked with eachother, Mireille merely leaned back, listening to all of them and waiting a bit, merely making mental notes on how Kyerine's world worked, finding it really interesting to listen to that

Riva, Somewhere

Meanwhile, Sha'Koro along with Aicha were going through the snow, seeming a bit aimless, neither of them really knowing what to actually do here.

Riva

Reinhardt Cabin

Duncan gives Byron a blank look, not seeming to get his joke immediately. "...And they call me the weird one." He starts. "The only thing I can think that can fit that description is my..." He continues before trailing off, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink. "O-Oh. Heh, bro, you're too much..." He says with an embarrassed chuckle sitting up to give him a playful nudge.

Rakiri, Mitch, and Val's Cabin

Rakiri scratches his head a little as Zsolt expresses interest in hearing some stories of his work. "Well, it's not like they're that interesting...though maybe I could share one or two sometime..." He says, with a slight smile.

JIL Cabin

Camélia blinks a bit.

"Uh... Well seems like everyone here is more advanced than us. Doesn't surprise me, to be fair. We're sorta used to be the dead last in discovering things. But hey, we do stuff differently. Ain't go no nanomachines or really powerful psychism."

She starts to explain.

"We just make stuff when we need it, or when our culture wants us to make that real. We may have some small nanomachines, now that I think of it, but it's only for medical purposes. I'm pretty much one of the only of my peeps to be able to change myself by forceful accelerated mutation. Consider it a gift from my parenthood. And, well, Keyrine, consider myself the bridge between you and Rhysha. One of the peoples I knew from my home was a specialist in mechanical implants, meaning she was capable of mixing metal and organic. If you wanna see, I got some parts where it shows."

"Are you thinking about towers, or birds, Kye?"

she turns back to Lex.

"As for ungrateful ◼◼◼◼◼◼◼◼ roaming planets? I've found my fair share too.And I don't think there's one specie that's not composed of at least one of them. 'Cept maybe if you're the last of your kind and you're nice..."    she adds, putting her hand on her chin, thinking.
