Here's mine. This is my first roleplay (ever) so feedback on any mistakes is welcome.
Name: Damian
Surname: Starr
Sex: Male
Age: 21
Race: Human (mother), Seraphon (father)
Homeworld: Terra, Eastern Hemisphere
Complexion: Pale
Height: 5'9
Eye Color: Blue (Bright Glow)
Hair Color: Black
Occupation: Hazard Engineer, Hacker
Additional Training: Basic First Aid
Equipment: Standard Engineering Toolset
Abilities: Latent Psionic Talent
Background [Extracted From The Archives Of The Maxim Consortium Building]: Here's the report you wanted: Subject was born in the underground labs of the Maxim-Naturals Division of the Maxim Corporation. Damian is the product of an illegal union between a Seraphon and a human. The B series of eugenics experiments was sanctioned and funded by the Terran government to create a batch of humans that possessed psychic abilities similar to the Seraphon in the hopes of manifesting said abilities in the common populace. Suffice to say the experiments were partly successful and partly not. The B series of offsprings survived initial testing trials (unlike the A series) but 98% of the children died after less than a year due to massive brain failure. Some survived for a few months longer in a vegetative state. They were eventually cut off life support and dissected for any useful data. The B series did produce however one survivor. This miracle of science proved to be the company's undoing in the end. Official records claim it was a chemical fire that began in the labs on floor B4 that quickly spread to upper floors and eventually reached the main building topside ending in the entire building being consumed. Goes without saying that this was a coverup. Although the Maxim-Naturals building was indeed destroyed in a fire, said fire was in reality caused by Survivor-1 or as you know him, Damian Starr. Starr is not his real surname as he never met his mother or "father." Not even I know her name or even her face as all test subjects were terminated upon giving birth. He adopted the name after escaping the night of the fire among the personnel being evacuated and has been on the run since then. Five years is a long time to be on the run and we had reports that he faked an education in engineering although we don't know for sure. This is all the information we have on him, or at least what wasn't lost in the fire. One word of warning; he regards all humans as "alien" even though he himself appears as one. One of our agents managed to get close to him last year and described his behavior as antisocial but only towards other humans. Maxim-Corp only employs humans, you make the math. Remember to extract this message and delete it afterwards, we don't want this sort of incriminating information floating around in our servers GOT IT? [Message Ended, Server Sniffer Protocol: COMPLETE]

Wow, all of these sheets are really great! Good work, guys. I look forward to interacting with all of these characters.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.Allow me to say it...
Michael/Donis OTP.
Yeah, it won't happen and that is one mother of a Crack Ship, but I had to say it.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Lol
Anyway, here be mine.
- Name: Gregory Blackwell-Brandt (nickname: Chuck)
- Age: 24
- Race: Human (initially)
- Homeworld: Remus - Terran Colony T-374
- Physical Traits/Appearance: Is about 6'1" and 200 lbs. He's brown-skinned, has nearly buzzcut bown hair, brown eyes, and a beard lining his chin. He's got an average build, and is just a bit a bit stocky. He wears a green shirt under a white vest, black pants, brown boots, and fingerless gloves, initially. He wears a dogtag necklace around his neck that is actually a disguised data drive.
- Occupation: Freelancing Hacker/Street Racer/Shipjacker
- Equipment/Tools: Link gun (hacking device/weapon), computer repair tools, signal jammer, wrist terminal (wrist mounted computer/communication device)
- Powers/Abilities:
- Hacking/Codebreaking - Has the knowledge and skill to break into computer systems, either manually, or with supplementary equipment.
- Parkour - Spending a lot of his youth running from enforcers on auto-thefts gone wrong has made him pretty good at this.
- Jamming Fields - Using his link gun in combination with his signal jammer, he can create a wide reaching jamming signal that can short out or screw with computer systems or synthetic beings for a short while, as well as conceal his hacking attempts and his location to surveillance equipment.
- Wheelman - Is a competent and skilled vehicle/ship operator, which makes him even better at his street-racing hobbies.
- Background: Being orphaned at a young age, Greg more or less was shipped around from various orphanages and group homes much during his childhood. His like of vehicles and apparent compulsive need to take joyrides in them only made finding a place where he could stay for an extended period rather difficult, , as street enforcers were often after him to punish him for his seemingly innocent crimes.
By the time he became an adult, he had become fairly adept at breaking into and hacking computer and vehicle systems, which only served to help fuel his compulsive tendencies even more. As expected, however, this only served to get him in trouble with the law even more frequently and his age making the use of more lethal punishment acceptable, he wasn't left with much choice but to stow away on a private vessel to parts unknown, with nothing to his name and alone on a foreign colony with no one to turn to.
Deciding to try and make the most of his clean slate, he starts a small computer repair business to make money to support himself, only resorting to using his abilities to commit small thefts every once in a blue moon, and when absolutely necessary, managing enough to live out a sustainable life, at least. Unfortunately for him, as he starts to adjust to a somewhat comfortable life, his compulsion starts to rear its head again, rather strongly, and he can't help but go out one night in an attempt to "borrow" a vehicle to satisfy his urges. This is where he ends up having a fateful encounter with a young street enforcer and another man, who after a series of events, he ends up becoming close friends and travelling companions with.
Currently has gotten into street racing, which he's actually pretty good at. Looks like those years of vehicle theft paid off, after all.
- Name: Rakirdyn "Rakiri" Ayers
- Age: 179 (17 in human years, looks about 20 something physically)
- Race: Echirean
- Physical Traits/Appearance: (Chosen form) Is about 6'3" and 221 lbs. He has short, slightly spiked dark blue hair (pinkish red in human guise), light blue eyes, with a scar across the right one (dark blue in human guise), and blueish skin tone with dark blue facial markings and hair. (lightly tanned with no markings in human guise). He's tall and buff and wears short-sleeved armored shirt, a tactical vest, dark army pants and boots. He has his blaster and knife both strapped to his belt.
- Homeworld: Kira (formerly known as Echirina)
- Occupation: Bounty Hunter
- Equipment/Tools: Plasma knife, High-powered blaster
- Powers/Abilities:
- Shapeshifting - Can morph parts or his entire body into various shapes and forms.
- Bioelectricity - Can use electrical energy naturally produced by his body to attack, screw around with or power tech or machines, and provide basic healing.
- Water Weakness - Is weakened when he makes contact with a large amount of water, preventing use of his electrical powers without hurting himself in the process.
- Conditioning - Thanks to being drafted into the Kirina-Echirean war a century ago, his body is highly conditioned, granting him superior physical ability and stamina.
- Background: Veteran/Survivor of the Kirina Echirean war. (Will add more to this at a later time/within the story, still working on the specifics)

Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.@Rather Random Rachel Hehe that would be a interesting ship, especially considering Donis hunts criminals and technically Michael or at-least what makes up his body blew up a space-station... That would be one confusing court case. o-o
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Do it. Seriously. I totally ship it now.
Link to the discussion thread just went up.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.- Name: Arif de Awesim
- Age: 19 years
- Race: Human/Maximatan
- Homeworld: Terra/Maximata
- Physical Traits/Appearance: Mop of black hair with fluorescent orange flairs, brown skin with blue splodges on it. Medium height and build.
- Occupation: Science & Technological Officer, Maximatan Extraorbital & Cosmological Defence Force (Mecdef).
- Equipment/Tools: Light-energy vector semi-auto rifle, portable technological interface device, internally-embedded optical sensor enhancers
- Powers/Abilities: Hacking, tech stuff, general scientific skills. Light engineering skills. Map-reading. Has honed Maximatan energy diffusion skills, ie near-area matter warping.
Born to a human father and Maximatan mother in the Terran capital city, Arif was raised on Terra for most of his childhood and his early adulthood. He embarked on training at the prestigious Ma’Kulhu Academy in the Maximatan capital city of River Bay to become a space operator. While not the best, he was certainly very good, developing a pressured light-energy rifle, which he carries while on duty. His marks in science & technology allowed him to hone his skill as a technical officer, rising through the ranks of Mecdef, from a near-orbit peacekeeper to a junior science officer on the interstellar carrier Edgbaston. What he lacks in experience and knowledge, he makes up for with enthusiasm.
While in service for the Mecdef, he saw limited combat, in Operation Vantage Sword when him and his team successfully supressed a turbulent insurgency on a Maximatan extraorbital station (operating near their only colony planet, Ged Vespo) which almost caused catastrophic failure of the station's life support systems.
During his time on Maximata, he visited his grandparents in the northern suburbs of Li Banne, who taught him how to hone his Maximatan skill sets, which involve being able to manipulate near-area matter.
Arif, however, has taken leave from Mecdef to pursue adventure and knowledge in his homeworlds of Terra and Maximata (only a short interstellar hop from each other), however, he is currently visiting Terran Colony Planet T-420 New Harmony Extraorbital Station III ("The Field") for their delicious cheesecake.

- Name: Aur
- Age: 17
- Gender: Male
- Race: Human ish
- Physical Traits/Appearance: Has black hair and brown eyes (At least, at first.). His skin is slightly tan due to spending long periods of time outside. Stands at 5’9” with moderate muscle. Ref
- Biology: Largely that of a normal human, though a thorough scan of his body will reveal that some of his digestive tract seems modified. Almost as if from the inside out..
- Homeworld: Terra-87 (Never really received a proper name due to being “recently” discovered and largely uninhabited)
- Occupation: Freelancer/Mercenary
- Equipment/Tools:
- Magitek sword- Powered by either magic or a rechargable battery. Functions like a lightsaber, but it's shape can be altered into two other forms. (gun and whip). If it's being powered by the battery in gun form it requires actual bullets rather than those made of magic.
- Demon Scroll: Contains an entity that calls himself Vincent that grants Aur powers. Not much is known about where it came from other than that Aur’s deceased friend gave it to him. It seems to be contracted to him, and outside of special circumstances always works its way back to him when lost.
- Small Starship: Like a minivan in spaceship form. It can get into and out of orbit okay, but it's not the fastest.
- Powers/Abilities:
- Demon Transformation: Allows him to change forms for a period of time. Each time he uses it, however, he becomes slightly closer to demon than human. In this form, he has the ability to manipulate water, enhanced senses, and a prehensile semi-liquid tail.
- Swordsmanship: Can hold his own with a sword pretty well.
- Decent Cook: He’s pretty good at cooking, due to having to do most of it himself at home.
- Swimming: He grew up around a lot of water, so he’s really good at swimming.
- Background: Grew up on Terra 87, a planet less populated than most other Terran colonies and covered by large amounts of water. His dad didn’t seem to care for him very much, and his mom is nowhere to be found. He was a pretty lonely kid. There was only one other person he was close to, a girl named Sylvia. He, Sylvia, and a third friend would go on to go adventuring together in the vast, largely unexplored . Sylvia and the other friend eventually became romantically involved. Though Aur was happy for them, he felt like a third wheel and eventually separated from them. About a year and a half later Sylvia asked him for help with something and he refused. Two months after that, Aur found the sword, scroll, and a note on his doorstep. All he could read of it said, 'I'm sorry for getting you into this, but I need your help. ..Please release the person in this scroll. I’m sorry…' The rest was crossed out. In the present he works as a freelancer, accepting money to do requests from delivering weird things or solving mysteries to doing things that are kind of illegal. He still hasn't completed Sylvia's request or gotten any clues on her location, but he's working on it.

off the shitsI could be lazy and just get my character sheet from Skype, but I'm actually gonna edit my character's background some. I'll have it up later today.
im gonna be updating my characters' backstories gradually throughout today and maybe tomorrow as well so be on the lookout for edits
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartI finally got enough time and got off my lazy ass to post my first sheet, so here we are.
- Name: Peter Blackwell-Brandt
- Age: 21
- Race: Augmented human
- Physical Traits/Appearance: 5’6”/167 cm, 75 kg/165 lbs, stout, moderately muscular build, round face, slightly narrow black eyes (sometimes wears colored contact lenses), medium length black hair with dyed white streaks on the sides and top, thick stubble/short beard, often wears black and/or monochromatic colors
- Homeworld: Terran Colony 14-02-B/ Knossos
- Occupation: Mercenary/security personnel, assistant researcher. engineer (will decide what kind later)
- Equipment:
- Dark grey medium combat armor
- Light shotgun with modified rounds to shred & shatter brittle, frozen materials
- Nanotech-enhanced/infused blade
- Several varieties of grenades
- A black jacket/longcoat he's seldom seen without
- An electronic locket with photos of Chris, Greg, and his team
- Powers/Abilities:
- Energy Manipulation: Peter is able to harness and manipulate various forms of energy around him. He is particularly adept in heat & light absorption (effectively giving him cold and darkness powers) as well as using kinetic energy, able to accomplish feats such as levitating & moving objects telekinetically.
- Telekinesis: Explained just above.
- Swordsmanship: Peter is adept at using his blade to fight, and has a simple but effective style. The highlight, however, is that he can project energy through the blade, creating various effects and greatly extending his damage potential & attack range.
Background (text wall incoming):
Before birth, Peter’s parents were casualties in an accident involving a military convoy containing high-end technology, including nanites designed to integrate to bodies and grant psionic abilities. His birth father died on the scene, while his mother survived. Peter was ‘infected’ with these nanites in-utero, and his mother died upon childbirth.
After being orphaned, Peter largely had to try to make his own way in the slums of Terran colony 14-02-B situated on the planet of Knossos. He bounced around between foster homes and governmental programs until he joined up with a ‘gang’ of youth and young adults at age 7, who tended to take in, look after, and protect abandoned children and orphans. With their guidance, Peter often found himself acting outside the law, not causing mischief or pain, but more in corroboration with people not much caring what the formal laws enforced, working small jobs like the occasional back-alley repairs and security jobs. While he had little formal education, he’s a natural bookworm and learner, surpassing most children of his age.
By the age of 14, the latter job transitioned into Peter having a position as a street enforcer, patrolling the slums of the colony and keeping peace in an often unfair and shady environment. Here, he learned to hone his psionic abilities, converting them from utility into combat purposes. He showed a particular talent in absorbing energy and using kinetic energy. Eventually he teamed up with another enforcer, a part timer named Chris who did what he could to help while he wasn’t working on small spacecraft for meager pay or stuck in his abusive home.
The two struck up a close friendship, and one fateful day, they ran across a rascal named Greg as he attempted to steal a car to go joyriding. Strange as it may seem, the three struck up a camaraderie, helping each other through a lot of hardships and out of tight situations, giving each other new opportunities and people to turn to and trust. By the time they arrived on the ship, the three of them had been formally going out for a few months.
At age 17, he encountered Dominic, the leader of a mercenary & security group, who took him in and gave him the opportunity to complete his secondary education, as well as train under him to develop his abilities further. He volunteered to join the group a year later, and has been with them ever since. He has recently completed training and is eager to go out with the other members, fighting in the front line, while also studying in various subjects such as engineering, nanotechnology and neuroscience.
I currently have several more (at least 4, with possible side characters) character sheets in progress. I'll post two summary sheets now, and give the full details later on.

Looks good to me, Pete :)
"I'm as free as the dust in the solar wind."- Name: Ana (alias)
- Age: ??? Appears 16
- Gender: Female
- Race: Human/Watasenian
- Physical Traits/Appearance: Is 5’5” and is a little bit pudgy. Has black hair that’s neck length in the back and shoulder length in the front, along with eyes colored similarly to her ink. She has spotty bioluminescent markings on her wrists and parts of her back that glow bright blue when she wants them to (or when she’s angry). Her ears are slightly pointed. Is currently wearing a hoodie, black pants, and boots. Wears glasses. Ref
- Biology: Has largely human biology, though she did inherit a few things from her Watasenian parent. Her eyes (besides the color) are better at seeing in the dark than the average human's. Her ears just look like that, they don't really possess much of an evolutionary advantage or anything. Underneath the aforementioned markings are ink sacs/glands, from which she can make and store ink.
- Homeworld: Terra
- Occupation: Freelance Artist/
Social Media Expert - Equipment/Tools:
- Bag of Holding: Messenger bag in which space is bent, allowing it to carry more things than one would expect. Currently only holds some spare clothes and Ana’s wallet.
- Stun Gun: A regular stun gun. For self defense. And it’s solar powered!
- Powers/Abilities:
- Ink generation/control: Can generate ink that’s colored to look like space. This coloring is thought to be an evolutionary adaption Watasenians developed. She can also form it into semi solid objects. It comes from glands located near her markings.
- Good at drawing.
- Can see pretty well in the dark.
- Background: Lived a fairly normal life, although learning one of her parents was a space squid taking on a human form came as somewhat of a surprise. She was allowed by her parents to travel around space. Not much else is known about her.

Note: My character concept is based on my WHABGF concept at full power (and as a Human Alien, with her powers given an alien origin). However, I'm not sure how comfortable I would be to play a permanently genderflipped semi-Author Avatar character in a non-WHABGF context, hence the gender neutral pronouns and stuff for the moment. I'll make my final decisions later, but they'll either be cis male or cis female. I do not intend to mess around with tropes like Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous.
Name: Maikeru (may change if I decide to (un)genderflip her).
Age: 19? 20?
Race: Humanoid, but not human (still needs a name).
Physical Traits/Appearance: Mostly baseline human, slim, long straight black hair (unless I decide to (un)genderflip her). Brown eyes glow red when using powers.
Homeworld: Born on a small space station.
Occupation: Adventurer/Adventure Seeker. (Possibly recruited onto the ship because despite their own lack of specialized skills, members of their species are widely sought after for their abilities, but rarely found due to their mostly reclusive, contemplative, and spiritual natures/society/culture.)
Equipment/Tools: Nothing special.
Powers/Abilities: Has the ability to command a strange energy field around them, which manifests as a crimson aura at its strongest. This gives them the following abilities:
-Enhanced physical attributes – enhanced resilience/endurance, enhanced strength (up to human limits, but not beyond) and striking power (can be beyond human limits and effective against armour thanks to energy blasts)
-Ability to project short-ranged energy blasts
-Limited telekinesis – can only target one object at a time, no “shitstorm of debris/everything in the room” and no stopping bullets/laser blasts. Also, it can’t practically affect anything above human sized.
-Dominating will – can make the weak-willed back down/intimidated/paralysed in combat (ability most likely ineffective on P Cs or major villains; slow them down at best)
-Enhancement – can make technology they are actively using function beyond its expected parameters, and can temporarily prevent failure (e.g. allow longer period before overload/burnout).
These abilities are based on their will and concentration, and thus can only be used at its strongest when their will/focus is unclouded and at its strongest. Also, the limit of their concentration means only one of these abilities can be used at once – if telekinesis is in use, they can hardly move, and lose their physical enhancement; they also can’t use Enhancement on technology they’re not physically holding/using. They also can’t actively fight and use Dominating Will at the same time, so they’re either suppressing enemies or actively fighting. Finally, all their abilities are limited to a several-meter radius around their body.
These abilities are a racial thing, originating from cosmic radiation bombarding the planet they evolved on; some believe the radiation to have caused a partial separation between body and soul, allowing the soul to act unrestrained but also unassisted by body. Others, typically more “scientific” sorts, merely believe the exposure has given them the ability to project a manipulable energy field of their own around themselves. Each member of the race would have such an energy field, but to what extent they could utilize it would vary. Maikeru’s abilities are stronger than average due to their well-developed and strong will as a Challenge Seeker; most of their race would probably be more spiritual and relaxed, which would allow their auras/energy fields to be used for sensing stuff around them more effectively, but not as easily for physical manipulations.
Background: As a Challenge Seeker whose creed is “Live For the Challenge”, Maikeru is bored with the mundane, repetitive duties and routines of station life, with new stuff only coming around rarely. Most of the other inhabitants of the station appreciate the peace, harmony, predictable cycles, and relative isolation, as befitting the mostly reclusive, contemplative, and spiritual nature and culture of their species. Maikeru is a rare exception, but some of this culture has still brushed off on them. They are also interested in seeking out new activities and experiences, and think life on a ship will be a more exciting, adventurous challenge, as well as allowing them to escape a culture and way of life they see as stifling their wild heart.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."Well, crap. I'll get my updated character sheet up shortly.
- Name: Johnny (won't give his last name for hell)
- Age: 17
- Race: Human, baseline
- Homeworld: Terra, he guesses
- Physical Traits/Appearance: He stands at 5'10" with a lean build. His hair is dark brown and always poppy; the guy just can't get a brush through it. He's usually seen wearing a gray sweater and tan khakis, though he does wear a variety of T-shirts with "old" iconography from time to time (the number of "old" references he'll get has stumped quite a few shopowners).
- Occupation: Student of an astronautical engineer, patronee for traditional art
- Equipment/Tools: Remington 700 rifle, satchel filled with ammunition, backpack with various energy tools and other supplies
- Powers/Abilities: He's a natural shot with that rifle, and he's slowly learning the tricks of the trade to building, designing, and working a spaceship from his teacher, Tars Greyson. His singing voice, while not perfect, has known to be somewhat enthralling, stirring up powerful emotions in people just with the hum of a verse. Some have suspected him being a latent psychic, though he won't say if that's true.
- Background: His origins are a bit murky, but many first saw him on Dysis as a homeless child searching for a job. Tars decided to take him in and teach him his ways, which Johnny learned rather quickly, though he still has much to learn. There are several peculiarities about him that some have noticed. First, he seems overly curious; the simplest and most well-known of histories and workings of technology don't seem to have slipped into his purview. Second, he's fond of the "older' way of doing things, though he won't forgo the conveniences of today's technology. Third, he always seems to trail off into his own world, seemingly unable to forge a connection with another person his age. His only real friend seems to be Tars, and even then, he'll prefer to spend time alone, only talking to, well, anyone else on occasion. Recently, he's taken to designing and building his own spaceship, something he does in his free time when not working on designs with Tars.
- Name: Guy Dashing
- Age: 25 Terran Years
- Race: Newtyper
- Homeworld: Feltson Belt
- Appearance: Firm, medium build. Square chin. White hair (buzzcut) and grey eyes. Typically wears green coveralls.
- Occupation: Miner
- Equipment/Tools:
- AMA 078-MV Guydommer AKA "Betsy": Developed by Newtyper Clans, the Guydommer is an Anatomical Machine Armour (or AMA for short) worker mech designed to navigate treacherous asteroid belts in order to mine precious metals only found in space. The 078 Miner Vehicle Guydommer is a stout, grey mecha suit with rounded armour plates designed to better take small asteroid impacts. It features a monocular head design and a variety of mining equipment. It is equipped with a core driller that is mounted on it's back; used for drilling sample core, a laser-treated carbon nanotube "megapick"; a large pickaxe, along with a pair of smaller pickaxes, plasmajack; essentially a jackhammer with a plasma torch on the end fitted on its left arm and a small MM 1 beam pistol; usually used to mark asteroids or defend against space pirates. The suit has 12 booster rockets, 4 on it's back, 2 on it's elbows, two behind it's knees and 4 underneath it's feet that propel it in space with quick bursts. They're great for maneuvering short distances but are useless for long distance travel. The Guydommer is bulky and nimble in space, but quite slow on foot and is not built for combat. Being designed for use in asteroid belts, however, it is capable of taking a lot of punishment. Guy's suit in particular is full of scrapes and dents but still runs perfectly fine. He affectionately calls his "Betsy".
- Toolset: For repairing and maintaining "Betsy".
- Powers/Abilities
- Heightened Reflexes: Being a raised in a variable gravity environment has given Guy enhanced coordination and reflexes...somehow. This is typical for a Newtyper.
- Gravity Sense: Another Newtyper ability, this allows them to "feel" gravitational pulls and adjust themselves accordingly.
- Mecha Piloting: Again, like most Newtypers, he's a natural born pilot who's honed his gift since he was very young.
- Mechanics and Engineering: Has a rudimentary knowledge in these fields sufficient enough to maintain "Betsy".
- Spatial Awareness: Can easily perceive the space around him and memorize the position of objects within space.
- Background: Guy was a typical Newtyper born in the Feltson Asteroid Belt. As a Newtyper he possessed the same abilities as any other Newtyper. Regular Terrans would see these abilities as a "gift" or "power", but actually these were quite common within Newtyperian Society. As he himself saw it, Guy was nothing special. After graduating from Feltson Mining Academy he began working the Asteroid belts, taking potshots at small asteroids, stargazing, and occasionally doing work. He enjoyed his job but always dreamed of something more, of going on an adventure through space to see other worlds and maybe meeting a sexy space chick or two with blue or green skin. Unfortunately his dream had come true. While working the outer fields of the belt, a band of pirates jumped his crew and stole everything that they had hauled. They were too far from Homebase for any help to arrive in a timely fashion so most of his crew was destroyed and Guy was sent drifting off into space, his Guydommer disabled and his communications taken out...
Newtypers! What are those? Newtypers claim to be "humanities next evolution". They are the descendants of a human Separatist faction that had left the Terran colonies years ago to establish their own colonies. The common philosophy amongst these Separatists was that humanity was destined to roam the stars, free from the boundaries of planetary systems, to make all of the cosmos their home. Generations of living in environments of variable gravity have caused new adaptations within these humans that make them better suited for prolonged space travel without the need for gravity generators or those weird rotating bed things. Although they didn't invent the piloted mech suit, they are the race that claim to have perfected it, and were the first to develop mechs exclusively for combat. They don't have a capital city or planet. Instead they developed a tribal-esque society and culture, with roaming "clans" hanging around asteroid belts or traveling through deep space. Most of their economy is based around mining and weapons development, and they gladly trade with other races for food and resources that are hard to find in space. They have a peaceful, though uneasy relationship with Terrans, likely born out of their belief that they are "superior" to their planet or colony-born cousins.

Name: Xirzan
Age: Their species live for more than centuries, That xir just 100 though, which is barely old enough to drive a car.
Race: Xir.
Homeworld: Saalarkan
Physical Traits/Appearance: Tall and muscular, with mainly black and red scales. They also have a jaw that open up in four with sharp teeth, and just two powerful arms and legs. They also have yellow eyes and a lizard-like head and tail. Despite their almost Obviously Evil appearance, the race is peaceful.
Occupation: Very interested in studying the other cultures, does a "paperwork job" as they put it, they just report how a civilization is doing and any menace to said population, such as a meteor or something. They are pretty low-ranked though.
Equipment/Tools: A jetpack and a laser gun, also a "Datapad", a very helpful tool to record conversations, write things and the likes.
Powers/Abilities: Strong, fast and sturdy (albeit not Superman level, of course) and a powerful healing factor, alongside some telekinesis. That said, they are young and comparatively weak, so while stronger than the average human, they aren't some unbeatable threat.
Background: Born in the Xir homeworld, very interested in studying other planets at a very early age. He studied pretty hard to get a job and is satisfied with his relative low-rank. Convinced that travelling around will allow him to see other civilizations while having "exciting adventures (as said by him)", he somehow convinced his superiors to let him off in a ship. Although he never predicted that they'd left him off at some docks before leaving him to wait for a ship.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.- Name: Alexander Ruthal
- Age: 26
- Race: Human
- Homeworld: The city of Aliaurbis, in the country of Novoselic (no musical reference intended) in the small planet of Borginia
- Physical Traits/Appearance:
Also, due to one experiment going kinda wrong, he lost one arm. But it's not all bad cause he now got a robotic arm. Also a nice scar on his chest and in some other parts of his body... and both can sometime start hurting, especially if stimulated in any way.
As for he usually wears, he dons a t-shirt, with an hoodie on top and jeans. He doesn't care much about how he's dressed, though.
- Occupation: Researcher for the Republic of Borginia.
- Equipment/Tools:
- Robotic Arm
- Hook
- Gun
- Blade
- Encyclopedia
- Powers/Abilities:
He also isn't bad with languages: altough born and raised in Borginia and thus having learned both Borginian and the Novoselican dialect, he can speak fluent Universal and some other languages, which he needed to learn for some of his researchs.
Amongst the other skills he posseses are some basic markmanship and self-defense for... I think you can guess.
Another thing he's good at is operating computers and the likes, as he always had an interest in them.
- Backstory:
Now, Borginia has had an history of civil wars to determine which country would be the leading one. There never was really a winner, but at a certain point in time it became apparent that Novoselic was the leading one, having mantained a pretty solid economy even under the pressure of war. In the end, that was chosen as the leading country, and its capital was chosen as the planet's representative city.
Back to Alexander, he was born in the country of Novoselic, in a city near the capital, named Aliaurbis. He lived a pretty much normal life until he was 21, when he became a researcher, as he always wanted to explore and discover new things. He is quite curious, indeed. And as for how he got his scars and robotic arm, well, he found out some substances aren't exactly as harmless as they look. And of course, he found out the hard way.
More specifically, he was conducting a research on some species inhabiting a satellite which seemed to have formed as a result of an enormous nuclear reaction happening on a nearby planet. Of course, he couldn't get on the satellite until the majority of the radiations were gone. What he found there was some of the weirdest things he ever saw. Somehow, some of the species present on the planet survived the massive exposure to radiations and mutated. They were also quite hostile, and quite hungry. And of course- why would anything go in such a way it is advantageous to Alex?- they were quite resistent. He managed to eventually capture one and escape, but in the fight he got badly wounded, and one of his arms was torn off pretty gorily. Luckily enough, he didn't suffer any nasty consequences- as can happen when being hit by this kind of creatures- but as said earlier, his wounds can start hurting, even for no apparent reason.
Aside from that, he now is on holiday on a planet, but if he sees something interesting, he may very well have a look. And wouldn't it be just perfect if the planet he was on was the one the ship is in, or is next to visit? That'd be a really convenient coincidence.
