Huh, these four are all chicks? Are we sure this isn't old picture back when all of them were guys?
Actually I wouldn't mind if those are their designs because they look pretty cool, especially red cloaked one. But whats up with these cards?
Early to tell, might be generic, might be promising but I look forward to more info.
Good to see that Nick's getting more action shows. They've been relying on comedy for WAY too long.
Speaking of which, how exactly are Miraculous' ratings and reception?
A LOT of people are liking Miraculous. I'm starting to think that if Nick keeps this up, we'll see a comeback for action cartoons.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Hard to find info on this...
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Pretty good move for Nickelodeon to pick up this show, huh? Kind of makes up for the mistake of rejecting The Modifyers.
If they find the right talent with the right amount of passion, Nickelodeon might actually put out a show as critically acclaimed and commercially successful as Gravity Falls or Steven Universe. (Not counting The Legend of Korra.)

Why do shows aimed at boys usually have a girl or two in the main cast, but shows aimed at girls apparently have to be all girl, or at least, all-girl protagonists?
This is something I question myself and considered bringing up, but I didn't want to nitpick. But since opportunity is here...
It doesn't happen just to protagonists, in general groups/teams tend to look like that and it makes sense at first look. Groups tend to be male-dominated most of time, so if you have 10 cartoons where 7 of them aim at boys and have only one or two girl protagonists, you would think that this is a fair trade. Forcing girl shows to follow the same rules would be false equality: like giving each actor in movie the say payment, no matter the screentime.
However, I have counterarguments: 1) This encourages status quo. Any complains that boy show lacks girls can be deflected by "Havent you noticed that girl shows dont have boys at all?" and nothing moves 2) This supports idea that girl stuff is girl only, while boy stuff at least makes token effort to make girls feel welcome. This encourages idea that boys shouldn't like girly things, that girly things are inferior etc. Also, standard reasons tokens are used.

That's kinda the thing that concerns me. It seems to say that either stuff primarily aimed at girls is "girls only," no boys allowed, or that the only way girls can stand out, succeed, be heroic, what have you, is if boys aren't present. I'm pretty sure that's not what they want to say, but there you go.
There is a lot of pressure on shows aimed primarily at boys to be more girl friendly. One would think that that should cut both ways.

Well, it sounds like it's specifically a Magical Girl show...I know that's not really an answer (there should be more magical boys), but.
I kind of like Pink Bishōjo Ghetto and Cast Full of Pretty Boys. I'm sorry.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I saw the screenshot first and thought this was really going to merge the vectors of Boy-centric and Girl-focused without having to side with either side more than the other. Like you can have a female lead who is strong, but still acts like a girl, in a world that isn't just sunshine and rainbows. If My Life As A Teenage Robot could do it, why not this show?
"We be we baby!"There LARP-ers count as magical girls? Is Danny Phantom or Thor magical boy?
Ironically the only time girls shows care about about including boys when there are only two main characters, like in Kim Possible or Miraculous Ladybug.
bump. hey guys, i just found some leak images for the girls here ya go◊
MIAand it's dead
MIAWhat? I thought it was still coming!
"We be we baby!"Well good news for you guys! There's been more leaks this month.http://mysticonz.tumblr.com
MIAHuh, they did went for more standard magical girl designs. I won't lie, I'm somewhat disappointing. Still might be good.
Redhead totally looks like Queen Mera.
they aren't that standard. last time I checked most magical girls don't wear pants.
MIAGiven this is nick, and how they treated Ladybug, I wouldn't hold your breath for this
-Sigh- First Korra, then Ladybug. Who runs Nick? Monkeys?
"We be we baby!"Bigots apparently. Oh too much of an overstatement. men who are afraid that gasp that girls like similar things that boys like.
Also, one could argue that they were given similar treatment like action shows get in nick. But I could be wrong on this one. Now I know why feminism is still around.

MIAI don't how you made the jump to Bigots, but there you go.

New theme music also a boxWell how many kids watched ML actually?
"We be we baby!"I have no idea what their viewership ratings are
New theme music also a box
A new acquired series coming to Nick in 2017. The basic synopsis is that Four girls are summoned to become the legendary heroes known as the Mysticons, but as far as the generic plot goes, it's the development and animation that really make it more worthwhile.(It was at first being developed for the male demographic but now it's more girl-centric, and it's from Nerd Corps, the people who created Max Steel(2014) and Sky Hawks) With Miraculous Ladybug already geting huge ratings and positive reviews, this series may be another step forward into improving Nick's quality! First look at the main characters. What are your initial thoughts?
