I have to lean in and squint to read the current, which is never a good sign. My objection to the suggestion is that I don't really get "army" from it, it just looks like a bunch of people from different eras put together.
My objection is that the image doesn't illustrate without the text, and the text is illegible at that resolution.
Actually, even with the text, it still doesn't really explain anything. It's an Indian with nukes that thinks they're rocks. Uh, okay?
OP's suggestion isn't amazing, but better than this.
Moon◊Kill current regardless of whether or not it's replaced.
Not a fan of the OP's suggestion due to it being too small to count as an army, plus it doesn't fit the trope's tone.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Then perhaps Kang the Conqueror's army, aka the Anachronauts◊?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Maaaaaybe?
Kind of busy...
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDon't really get historical from that.
(Annoyed grunt)Clock is set.
5 is okay.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not feeling 5. Kinda looks like potential JAFAAC; it may look like they dressed themselves that way.
As for the current, yeah, pull regardless.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAgreed that whatever we pick or don't pick, the current needs to go for being non-illustrative.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The clock's up and the only consensus decision we have is to pull the current, so it's gone and the page is tagged. Locking up.

Army of The Ages is defined as warriors from different time periods being assembled to create a Badass Army. The image does not illustrate that and instead just shows a technologically advanced foe beating an underdevelopped one, which makes it misleading. If there was some indication of time travel it would fit Conqueror from the Future, but this just looks like a spoof of the tried-and-true method of an in-game RTS technology disparity.
Here's a starting point◊ for a replacement, from Night at the Museum 2.
