Probably. But I'd say that's for lack of options. After all, it's a choice between Adrian and Marinette, or Adrian and Chloe.
Perhaps the dramatic irony of having both sides of Loves My Alter Ego in one relationship?

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. It's pretty unanimous yeah, even on tumblr. But It's not like people wouldn't randomly ship them with other characters if they wanted to, so there's something about the love square that fans really like.

What's not to ship about the love square? It doesn't have any aspects that could be considered problematic. The differences in personality and dynamics between the alter-egos mean that people who like different sorts of couples can just focus on whichever chemistry they like best. The set-up gives inherent drama in a way that doesn't make either character come across as thoughtless or a jerk like other love triangles can. Plus, it's such a focus of the show that if you didn't like it you wouldn't be a fan in the first place.
That's definitely one reason people like the ship and as the person above me said there's different things for each combination to enjoy about the ship that seems to really pull shippers in.
Well said!! I'm a person who likes a variety of different ships so I guess this appeals to me as a ship with different dimensions, each being a trope I'm a fan of.
So how well is the show doing because I doubt the anime version will ever be done at this point.
Impressive. :O

Mileena MadnessDoing well enough to get 2 more seasons and OVA animated more like anime is confirmed.
Is this show airing right now? Was there a schedule change or something? He asked, not realizing the threat of Internet Backdraft until halfway through the question.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. Are you talking about the English dub version? I'm not entirely sure myself, Nick is being weird about airing it right now. Now if you're talking about the show as a whole, it just finished the season finale in French and it'll be a good long while before we get season 2, but we are getting it.
I think it will start airing new episodes again this Sunday.
In UK.
You have to pay to watch it on demand now with Nick, which bothers me because just a few months ago it was free..
Also, hi
off the shitsNick loves to mess with their shows look at Power Rangers.
Mileena MadnessDid it get the boot?
"We be we baby!"From what I'm understanding, they haven't aired any dubbed episodes on Nick in about a month, but they say they're going to be moving the show to air on Saturday nights now or something, according to their official Twitter.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Something that struck me as odd on this afternoon's show.
Marinette sets up an interview with Ladybug to make up for deleting Alya's video. Why did Alya never question this?
No moment where she asked "However did you manage that?" Was she just so wrapped up in keeping the phone away from Marinette that she never stopped to ask the question that would obviously lead to the superheroine's identity being exposed?
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The Mime episode came after Nathanael's episode, where Marinette "met" Chat Noir and Ladybug. Maybe Alya thought that Marinette sorta had connections to the superheroes now.
The episode chronology I'd purposely thrown off. There's only a general idea, for example, the episode where Jagged Stone gets akuma'd is cronologically before any of his other appearances.
Not sure why episodes are out of order when there is no harm in releasing them chronologically. Avoid some status quo too.
Non Indicative UsernameI guess it's just easier for some reason not to have confirmed order...I dunno, but many shows mess up order, even if they have stronger continuity, so I'm not surprised that it happens.
Yeeaah, I found ending of Mime episode to be stupid too. And I guess Marinette was just waiting outside trough whole interview, right? It's as if one of LB and CN's powers was some kind of Idiot Ball radiation that protects their secret identities.
Mime was pretty cool, though. I would say the same thing about him and Mr. Pigeon. They're not as awesome as they were in anime video, but they captured the spirit of their 2D versions. Worth the wait.
And back to calling bull, I know this show can be silly, but twice Ladybug threw her yoyo and it's pretty much formed giant net on it's own. Wasn't that the kind of power Spider-Man and Wonder Woman had in their earliest animations, back when cartoonists either didn't care about logic at all or were constantly high?
I want to headcanon that their Miraculous actually produce some sort of magical glamour effect. I mean, Marinette literally has the same hair style as Ladybug; at least Adrien's hair gets tousled a bit.
Also her yo-yo can cut a hole in a bus and is canonically as long as she wants it to be because magic. If she can do instant knots, a net honestly isn't too ridiculous.

So, Australia will finish the series before the end of this month, and United Kingdom is also back to airing, they should finish by June....Is it a bit weird then, that USA isn't airing?
Obviously Nick wants to split the season into Miraculous and Super Miraculous.

Non Indicative UsernameThen it can make MOAR TOYS WITH NEW PROMOTIONAL ARTS!
"We be we baby!"I noticed interesting disparity between some episodes's morals and fans' reactions to them in non translated yet episodes. Namely that writers seem to hold Marinette to higher moral standard, and when she's Right for the Wrong Reasons, fans stick more with her, because she's still right.
The Gamer: Marinette won her place in tournament fair and square...even if she only did that to spend time with Adrien. Antibug: Ladybug has good reasons to dismiss what Chloe says....even if she only does it because she doesn't like her. Volpina: She should expose Lila's lies....even if she's only so harsh on her because she's jealous.
And each time she realized that she was wrong... about... being right... and asked to such.
EDIT: Okay here's what I was really trying to say. It's kind of the same thing where I see posts that say while it would be interesting to see Marinette or Adrien affected by an Akuma, this is ultimately a show for children, and it wouldn't be appropriate for that to happen, because the heroes have to be morally upstanding in that regard, and not be tempted toward evil. At the same time, they still need to have actual character flaws (otherwise Marinette would... literally be Bella Swan) so having a bunch of ambiguous moral situations where she can still be seen as objectively right even when she does something wrong.

Should I put an OTP entry about how Marinette/Adrien seems to be an unanimous OTP?
