Opened.
I'm not sure if it's obvious enough. Is "pitbull" a slang term for the rap segment?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"There's a rapper whose stage name is Pitbull. I dunno if it's a reference to him.
(Annoyed grunt)It is.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yes, Pitbull is a rapper. It's a reference to Pitbull constantly doing rap segments on pop songs, then vanishing.
Then it's too dependent on context to work. An image has to illustrate the trope without requiring knowledge about a specific work.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I thought it meant a dog barking.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Pitbull is one of the most well-known rappers on the planet. And in context, it's pretty obvious that "Pitbull" is meant to be the name of a rapper.
Both of those claims seem to me to be plainly false.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I personally thought the reference was obvious (probably because the guy's everywhere around here) but it's not a good image of the concept. and BUPKIS.

An alternative would be putting "Pitbull is the name of a rapper" somewhere in the caption, clearly but possibly not directly. If I had that piece of information, most everything else would have fallen into place.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Nah that just doesn't really work.
The only thing I can think of is some screens of a concert and a rapper walks on stage, I don't know of an example of it though.
It doesn't make sense for readers who don't know about this Pitbull guy.
I like it, but it does depend on knowing who Pitbull is so it's probably not a viable option without a good caption.
Any idea for a caption that explains who Pitbull is?
There's the infamous rapping dog◊ aboard the cartoon movie Titanic: The Legend Goes On
It's a bit weak in establishing he's onboard the titanic, but hey, he's rapping with a 19th century radio rather than a boom box.
Looks pretty dark and blurry to me.
Left field but the rappers◊ from Robin Hood Men In Tights?
^ That one is funny.
20 seems to work. Got the typical rapper poses down.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportNeeds much better quality though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, 20 is clearly chronologically displaced, but the quality could be better.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"It isn't too pixelated when resized (I couldn't find a clearer one anyway).
How might this◊ diagram work as a page image?
It's cropped from an "anatomy of songs" cartoon, and it hangs a heavy lampshade on the A Wild Rapper Appears! trope.
Would anyone object to it becoming the page image?
