How many of you guys chose original names based on puns? Because that was basically the only thing at play for me (Meenah Peixes, the teenage!Condesce, = Mina Pikes, and Irene Brun came from Kuroe's mother Iri and the family name Einzbern.)

"Shakhar" is "dawn" in Hebrew; "Richter" is a random Jewish last name.

For Sabine Sparks, I just hastily picked whatever sounded cool.

Elize Bhukwana is the name of a character I had from an RP that died in infancy. The odd-looking last name is due to her being half-Zulu.

Nadia? I like the name. Kipper? one of my characters on a personal RP i have with a guy has that last name, so it was on my mind.

Heh, OK then. Any character interactions you guys are looking forward to? I think it'll be interesting for the giant alien fish empress-looking girl to meet up with some of our monster-huntery types.

I'm looking forwards to any interaction with my character, since a grizzled-looking assassin is the last person you'd expect to squee over a kitten or generally act really bubbly and excitable.

Charles is my middle name. Raven is just a name I've always liked.

Also we started btdubs.

I think I may have just given my character prosthetic eyes that I'd never brought up before in the opening post.

Fortunately the problem has been resolved. I'd have been okay with it if I marked it down in the character sheet, but hey - I've got no interest in playing evil and pulling tricks out my ass. Then things get criminally unfun.

I figure an Internet forum makes sense as a way we could talk IC, at least before whatever the GM plans to that effect show up.

Now I just need to figure out how to get myself there.

Ask the handy dandy AI helper to find such threads? Coincidentally be someone who frequents that forum normally?

Going with the second. The AI helper got removed because I never specified he had one in the charsheet and caught myself after I posted.

EDIT: Alright. So, here's the skinny.

I did bad things to this laptop I own. I did even worse things trying to repair it. Long story short, if I keep using this for any more than token purposes I run the risk of burning the CPU out and killing it stone dead. I am looking into backup plans so this might effect me less than I think it does, but call it preparing for the worst.

This roleplay did just start, but I'd post more than once a day if shit wasn't bad. Shit is bad, so I'm going to be posting once a day - basically, turn this on, drop in here, post in roleplays, that's it.

Just a note, Sparty, and everyone else as well: That blue substance is most definitely not Kaiju Blue.

And don't worry, Sparty, I plan to generally post once a day as well, to keep a reasonable pace.

That can always be written off as speculation by the news.

Either way, it's probably not good for us. At all.

EDIT: Karin, I'm letting you determine how close your/my character are online. Better to hand it off to someone else than act like an entitled dick and piss people off, right?
