NSFW/Image Macro: Slime Girl

Image was added a few months ago by Mavado. Perhaps I'm being overly cautious here, but the nature of the trope is such that I figure it's best not to take any chances.

Anyway, the girl depicted does obviously have Barbie Doll Anatomy, but the image as a whole makes me a bit uncomfortable. I also don't particularly care for the caption, for what it's worth.

And before you ask, no, I don't have a good alternate suggestion. I'm sorry. I tried checking the examples list for ideas (as opposed to running a Google image search, which seemed like a positively Squicktastic idea), but they seemed to just turn up other risque characters or ones that don't look even remotely humanoid◊. But I still thought I should at least ask about the current image.

The caption can go. The current's not bad, and not what I'd consider truly NSFW, but I'm open to other options.

Did a bit of searching. The best candidates I had were Jamanen [1] and Myrrh [2]. Just not sure about the copyright issues with commissioned art.

The generally less seductive pose of this one makes it feel a bit more SFW.◊

I'd seen that second one in GIS...it's about on par with the current for me, with your first and The Pope's running just behind.

I still like the current, it actually shows the trope and the way it is portrayed. And it really isn't that risqué.

I think the current is fine. It's slightly edgy, but due to the Nonhumans Lack Attributes clause it's probably okay. The caption can go, though.

I would stick with the current.

I like the second picture on 6 because there's nothing remotely sexual about it.

Current is OK for me. 2.6 might also work.

6.2 is sick. I like it.

6.2 is not the way the trope is portrayed at all, having bones is a big nono.

6.2 is very creepy with that backbone.

Those all work, but I don't think any of them are particularly better than what we already have up there.

Agree, I just posted those to really demonstrate an actual slimegirl. 6.2 is not the trope.

I think part of the reason the current one might read to some people as NSFW is the fact that she's wearing a shirt which weirdly makes her seem more naked than the ones with no clothes on.

3, 8, and 9 are my favorites from those.

I don't like ANY of those.

Wearing clothes is very much non-standard for this trope and Non-Humans Lack Attributes is law. The fact that in stories in which they appear clothing will often go right through them as they are completely liquid, being trapped inside one is a very common plot line actually.

Post 17 and 25 have lots of options. ask for permission to use this? here is a very cute one
