That looks more like some kind of weird aura effect than anything...something that's more clearly looking like smoke or flame would be better.

It's a hard one to picture... while assisted suicide would also fall under it, I'm ambivalent about this one from Blade II. Would that be too spoilery?

That's the scene I thought of.

Since it's listed as an example, perhaps we could use the sequence from The Chronicles Of Riddick where the Furyon Necromonger walks out into the deadly sunlight of the planet Cremetoria and is quickly consumed?

I think I have a copy of the film but it's in storage and I'd rather not have to dig it out if someone else can screencap the sequence.

I know it's borderline at best since the Necromonger isn't a vampire as such, but it does look really impressive.

^I don't think that sequence would really work; since he walks to his death we'd need more than one shot to establish it as a suicide, else it just looks like someone burning to death.

Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think 3 does manage that aspect with one pic. She's dying peacefully in someone's arms with sunlight entering the scene. On a page named Suicide by Sunlight, I'm not sure how it could be interpreted otherwise.

3 is excellent. But is it too spoiler-y? This isn't a mook, it's the love interest and it happens at the end of the movie.

If that's not an issue, it has my support.

It happens at the end but it's not, like, relevant to the climax. It doesn't really matter. I dunno. Is "protagonist's partner or love interest doesn't survive until the end of the story" always a spoiler, regardless of the rest of the story? I'd think that would be super common.

I'm wary of 3 because it could be a spoiler for people who haven't watched the film. Otherwise it'd make a fine page image.

I don't care about spoilers, so I'm fine with it. Can't speak for other people though.

What is spoilery about 3?

[up]Probably because it's showing a main character's death.

I am a fan of that film and I think it's not, not really. I don't think "one character dies at the end, which doesn't affect the plot" is a spoiler. She could easily have survived. It doesn't matter. Telling someone "that chick dies" when she's introduced near the beginning would not affect their enjoyment of the movie.

Going into detail about the storyline (Blade teams up with vampires to hunt super-vampires) or what happens specifically (who is on whose side, who is responsible for the appearance of super-vampires) would be more of a spoiler.

The main villain in Blade 2 is awesome by the way.

I'd like something that clarifies that the dead girl is dying on purpose and it's not just Died in Your Arms Tonight.
