Seems a good replacement for Evil Mentor to me.
I agree.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Selene looks good for Evil Mentor.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's just about the same, but with different characters. Sure, I guess?
Check out my fanfiction!Bump; any other thoughts?
I'd go with the OP.
(Annoyed grunt)The replacement suggestion looks like the woman is about to put a spell on the kid, or hypnotize him. In the current pic, the mentor-mentee relationship is much clearer, because the old guy has a fatherly (not threatening) stance towards the kid, plus the kid is wearing identical clothes, suggesting that he's modeling himself after the old guy. So yeah, the current pic is much better at illustrating the mentor aspect of the trope. Also, I'm not sure if it's the best illustration for Occult Law Firm, since there's nothing explicitly supernatural happening in the image.

Then how about a Magic card for demonic attorneys◊ for Occult Law Firm?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Bump. Anyone?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I guess it works.
Going with 9 for Occult Law Firm.
I support 9.
Same here.
(Annoyed grunt)I can live with putting 9 on Occult Law Firm.
Clock is set.
for 9.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Uploaded, potholed and tagged. I suppose this is where we start discussing for caption?
I would go with no caption.
I'm also fine with no caption.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I agree with that. The image has enough text as-is.
I'm good with no caption too, and since it's been 3 days, let's roll with that. Locking up.
Evil Mentor is almost identical to Occult Law Firm, both of which use the theatrical poster for The Devil's Advocate. Since the latter trope is probably harder to picture, I'll open with Selene mentoring Wither◊ from X-Men.
