Nothing has been Japan-only yet, not even Necky.

For those wondering, you can play her courses now and unlock her. Also, she's from Nise Koi.

*Puts Mario Maker on right now to play the course*

EDIT: It's two levels, so there's more than just Chitoge. Too bad they're in NSMBU style, meaning I'll have to test the costumes in edit mode after unlocking them to see how they're like.

EDIT 2: Oh, they both unlock the same costume. I thought by the names of the levels you could unlock multiple costumes like in the Pokémon'' level. Ah well.

For those who don't get the joke, Chitoge of Nisekoi is semi-regularly described as a gorilla by the Clueless Chick-Magnet.

If Nintendo is starting to recruit from the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump, though, I can only guess as to which characters they'll try for next (my off-the-wall prediction? Tony Tony Chopper).

I'll admit, part of my prediction for Chopper is to make an Ikue Otani-themed level (seeing as she's the anime voice for both Chopper and Pikachu).

If Chitoge's DK, then Kid Goku would be Diddy.

Chopper can easily be Lanky or Chunky depending on his forms.

I think.... I think I just fell in love.

I found an user who has a very impressive collection of levels, some of which I ended up downloading because of how clever and well-designed they are. If you're interested, you can bookmark those levels here (I went as far as marking her as a favorite creator).

These are the levels I recommend the most:

And many more!

On a different note, I'll see if I submit a new level in the next few days. I feel inspired to do something new (especially after having played those!).

That's just one level, and it's not a Kaizo-esque level or anything like that. It's an actual difficult level where you have to time your jumps as you're sorting obstacles involving the flame torches.

I can understand if that's not your cup of tea, but honestly I could get used to levels like that instead of the usual troll garbage found in Expert difficulty.

I think the novelty of "i wanna be the new kaizo mario" has worn off, especially since so many people aren't looking to play those kinds of levels or just outright avoid difficult levels(which is another matter).

Troll levels like the "impossible levels" stuff will always exist, but those are completely different from "kaizo mario" levels.

I have made a new level, but I have some big concerns over whether it's worth submitting or not. It's not overly difficult, but just in case I playtested it four times in a row and the times I had left on the clock were 232, 261, 254 and 257 respectively. I even noted a potential Sequence Breaking at one point but I want to leave it there to reward those who discover it.

You know, after having played that user's levels, I feel like I still have a lot to learn in regards of levelmaking, and I'm feeling tired of doing so much effort with little payoff. I actually made very careful considerations for this level I made so it's friendly to the new players but not too easy for veterans.

Oh god. I know about Sequence Breaking. I didn't see the trope page until now, but that is absolutely what I've accidentally pulled off several times, not just in Mario Maker.

There was a really bad sequence break in my level Roaring Speed Aircraft, which made it in because I didn't research the Super Mario World cape. Millbee opened that level and absolutely trashed it with his sustained flight. Sustained flight I didn't think was possible.

This of course is the reason that the level is not uploaded right now. Working on Roaring Aircraft to replace the design entirely.

Ugh. I had a similar painful wake-up call with my habit of putting a secret exit in all of my levels. I had put them in as a neat reward for anyone who found them, under the assumption that they would go back and do the level correctly afterwards. Well, when The Ultimate Enemy: The Camera was played on You Tube, the guy found the secret exit and immediately went "Welp, guess I'm done with this one". I was SO pissed, both at him and myself. -_-

Sadly, most people aren't going to go back to do the level properly if they found a way to beat the level faster. Gotta force them to take one path or at least one that doesn't dump you to the goal.

Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.

Oh yeah, most people never bother playing a level again after they beat it. Sad but true.

Heck, I'll admit to being guilty of it. I think the only level I've beaten more than twice even was MyFinalEdit's huge P-switch level, and even that was just to see just how hard I could Sequence Break (as it turned out, pretty much all the way).

Here's my newest level! During my pre-submission playtest I managed to beat it at 269 seconds, so I don't think length should be an issue for first-timers. There's a part of the level where you have to navigate through a chasm with the help of a ? box traveling on a rail. You'll lead to a different section that in turn will take you back to the start of the rail chasm. What to do there, you ask? Since you're now under the part the box passes through, you can now hit it from below. It'll reveal a beanstalk! And with it you'll reach a door that was inaccesible before!

As you can imagine, that spoiler-taggeded part is where you can pull the Sequence Breaking, but you'll need a tool that is only available at the start of the level, so you'll have to reach there completely unharmed.

If you have free time, Footsteps, can you give the level a try? I want to know if the length of the level is appropiate. I'll also post this level in Mario Made.
