You can't. Only moderators can fix page types.
Yeah, an annoying issue. I already fixed your page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf that's so, we might want a sticky for page type changes. From time to time, I find pages like Characters.Rokka No Yuusha, Creator. The Black Duelist, or Fanfic.Yu Gi Oh Revolution Gathering that were accidentally set to do indexing.
So is this a glitch, or is it an anti-vandal measure?
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Fixed these three pages; further requests can go here.
It wasn't an anti-vandalism removal, by the way, even if the number of bad page type changes has dropped dramatically. It was removed because it was associated with another function that was breaking Google indexing.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like to ask something. Since the page types are breaking Google Indexing, does that mean we should not be using the Un-Typed Pages tool?
It's not the page types that were doing it; it was the presence of creation and modification dates.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Wasn't there a tool to change page type in the left sidebar? I'm sure I used it a few times. Do the [[index]] tags still work?
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!There was. The wiki changed and it started to hurt the Google stuff, so it was made moderator-only until we finish moving to 2.0 style, which might render it unneeded.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.We won't have page types like that in 2.0. Way too much of a hassle to maintain.

This page was made with the wrong page type. I've looked all over the site, and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix this. The administrative pages on how to fix a page type is also outdated.
