The original. Yuri Lowenthal is the redub if I'm not mistaken.
That's amazing that they got him back. (Especially cause I just beat SOTN for the first time a while ago XD)
The Protomen enhanced my life."How do you define humans? Wretched, insignificant aggregations of uneasy truths! That said, our conversation is time wasted. En guarde!"
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Just avoiding copyright by Konami there lol
Mileena MadnessDoes that game have a release date rather than a vague "2018" already? I'm itching to play it.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...The spinoff/demake comes out in a week and a half. The main dish will be later.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Yeah, I saw the news. Still, no release date makes me anxious.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I wonder if Koji Igarashi saw the Castlevania series on Netflix...
I wonder why they made an 8-bit game alongside the main game. It feels counterproductive.

Because if you're going to bank on nostalgia to get your game made, you might as well go all-in.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I mean, if it turns out that the main game isn't that great there's still a chance the 8-bit game turns out okay.
Igarashi wouldn't be as idiot as Inafune was... Would he?
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I have a lot of confidence this'll turn out good, he had a lot of input on the handheld titles, he knows what he's doing. Plus, it's not like Inafune who didn't do all that much outside of marketing and character design.
At least they aren't trying to kickstart an anime series at the same time.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThe 8-bit game was probably more of an Inti-Creates idea than Iga's, I think. Their other Retraux styled games were pretty good (the Blaster Master remake/sequel and Mighty/Gal-Gunvolt Burst especially), and I've been under the impression that they love old-school games as much as fans do.
I don't think that making Curse is counter-productive. If it's anything like how Mighty Gunvolt came about, IC probably asked for—or were given the rights to use—the Bloodstained characters and setting for their own game, which should mean that it hasn't been cutting into the main game's production much at all.
The fact that this is a bonus rather than a second Kickstarter project has me a bit more sanguine.
That, and I've really liked several of Inti Creates' other pixel-based side-scrolling games (Azure Striker Gunvolt, Blaster Master Zero), so I think it stands to be entertaining at least.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. Can someone who picked Switch as one of their digital options for Curse of the Moon tell me if they've found their download code yet because I'm getting the impression they might be a bit delayed?
I got my Steam code, though, it isn't long (think something you could finish in one sitting in the pre-battery save NES era i.e. right on brand) but it's great fun, the bosses are snazzy, the soundtrack is fantastic (as expected) and the whole 8-bit throwback is so complete it'll give you whiplash.
Ah, right, here we go; Codes for everything besides Steam, i.e. all the console ones, have been a bit delayed and will come trickling in as they become available, 3DS and Xbox in particular facing a week-long delay at least. If you've only picked console copies you'll be rewarded a temporary Steam key in the meantime, though.
How are the reviews? I think the reception will help color how people approach Bloodstained.
Very positive, as far as I've seen.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Worst case scenario folks will say "Just stick to Curse of the Moon"
Just redeemed my version of Curse of the Moon. Its good. First boss is a little basic, but it fixes that problem.
There haven't been horribly many yet but as far as I've seen they average around 80, I think. Destructoid is the only "big" publication that has reviewed it thus far, though.

Perhaps the rest are waiting for codes too.
Was Robbie Belgrade the original Alucard or the redub?
