Yeah this ep was a little tricky trying to find a good screencap for. I just went with that one since it seemed appropriate but did notice it was rather bland. I was actually thinking of changing it to the part where the cutie marks surround Apple Bloom from her fourth nightmare.

While I've not seen the episode, I think the suggestion is a little too much of a closeup to work well as an image.

At any rate, I do think that last suggestion is better than the one in the OP.

I think #10 is a winner, especially for the pun it evokes. "Recursive plot", teehee.
Oh, and it's probably good for the Inception reference too. Maybe. Haven't seen that movie.

I don't know if there is a poll (plus I don't know the #10 everyone is voting for), but when I was trying to change the main image, I was going for something more like this.

I myself think the following image sums up the conflict of cm's quite well. But that's just my opinion. Dunno if anyone would want this image instead.

the "10" was referring to my second post, which was the 10th post on the topic.
and my suggestions on both that post and the OP were made because I felt the image and the caption didn't match
Captions are usually chosen to fit images, not the other way around.
Regardless, I still think 10 is the best suggestion so far. In 21, it's not as obvious that the symbols floating around Apple Bloom's head are cutie marks.

Okay I'm ready to change the image now. Are there any objections, cause if not then the image wiil get changed in 22 minuets (around 6:00 PM Pacific)
Well, I have an unusual suggestion. This is not for a trope, nor a work in its entirety, but a suggestion for an episode recap page.
I think that The episode of MLP:FIM that aired on April 20th, "Bloom and Gloom" does not illustrate the caption it was paired with well (The caption, has since been changed, but since it still have an Inception joke and pothole I still say that the image does not illustrate the caption well (as a counterargument, it does illustrate part of the plot of the episode)
The plot of which has Apple Bloom trapped in a recursive dream of things going south as soon as she earns her cutie mark. Elaborating on this would head further into spoiler territory than necessary, but the way this seems to be handled as well as a gag of one of the Cutie Marks being Apple Bloom's own head, might be a reference to the movie Inception. Hence the pothole in the cation (which is now a pun on one of the memes spawned from the film, as opposed to the different meme form the same film the original caption was)
I propose to change the image to one that depicts the "Head cutie mark gag" like the following. What are your opinion on such a change.
