Duplicate Image: Guest Fighter

The recently changed image on As Lethal as It Needs to Be is a cropped version of the current picture on Guest Fighter. I think Guest Fighter is easier to change; as a lateral change one can use the XBox◊ cover for Soul Calibur 4 and replace Darth Vader with Yoda.

Opened, but I am not entirely convinced it's a duplicate. The work page image does show a work title, for example.

The change should work fine.

I'd agree with the change too, except the suggested image is on the small side. We'd need a bigger one.

What about Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat 9?

Hmm...the problem with all the suggestions so far is that they don't indicate which is the guest. I think a better suggestion would be something that shows more characters, with one being obviously out of place.

I don't think that matters.

I think Yoda and Vader are well-known enough for Star Wars that it should be pretty evident that they're the guests, especially with the Soul Caliber logo being so prominent.

Freddie Krueger and Kratos are both indeed guest fighters in Mortal Kombat 9.

Jason joins in as a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat X.

I don't see anything wrong with the Mortal Kombat screenshot, but I think Yoda vs. Ivy works better.

If that doesn't work, there are plenty of screenshots of the character select screen from that game.◊ I'm currently on my cell phone, so I can't tell what size these pics are or how they would look at wiki size.

There's so much screen real estate devoted to the character portraits on either side that the character selection in the middle is just a blurry grid at wiki size.

I've tried cropping out one of the characters to leave more space for the selection grid: Vader variant◊ Yoda variant◊.

I figured that would be the case. There are screenshots of gameplay of Vader and Yoda fighting the regular cast in the GIS I posted.

Edit: Actually really liking the Yoda one.

Sticking with the Vader theme, what about this piece of box art for Soul Calibur IV?

I'd say that's good for Image Links, but the Yoda/Ivy pic makes for a better page pic to me.

The proble with 18 is that Darth Vader is barely visible. Yoda and Ivy work best here; probably with a quote remarking that Yoda is the odd one out in the game instead of the whip lady.

I don't mind the Yoda-Ivy pic, but can we use one that doesn't have the game's title in it? I'm not really fond of trope images having the work name etched on it. [1]◊

I don't have a problem with the logo being on the pic. Crowner, or just run with the Yoda/Ivy pic since consensus is leaning strongly toward it?
