TVTropes April Fools' Day Joke Ideas

Post your outrageous ideas for April Fools' Day Jokes that we should do here on TV Tropes. I'm talking site-wide stuff. The more ridiculous the better.

If you're the type of person who thinks it's stupid to talk about April Fools' Day jokes starting on April 2nd, then think of it as a generic "Site-wide prank idea" game instead. It comes out to the same thing: Silly stuff TV Tropes could do site-wide as a joke.

The more ridiculous, the better.

I'll start with the suggestions I made in ATT yesterday.

Gogogogogo!

• Make every page on the site a redirect to a Wikipedia or Encyclopedia Dramatica article about a comparable or closely-related subject.
• Generate a master list of all the pages on the site, and redirect each one to the next one on the list, redirecting the last one to the first, so that every page is a circular redirect spanning the entire site.
• Made every troper a mod, but switch all the mod powers around so that each function does what another function is supposed to do. And then on April 2nd, revert everything that happened and ban literally everyone who took advantage of it.

Post an announcement saying the site has been hacked and that a certain member has been picked to save the day. Said name shall be programmed to display the current username, and the thread would be inaccessible (or the name hidden) for guests. Let chaos ensue as everyone tries to realize that they actually /aren't/ a moderator. xD

Change all outbound links to Rick Roll.

Change a user's avatar randomly everytime they post.

Make it that every time you post there's a 25% of it being auto-thumped.

Clicking on a series' subpage leads you to a random subpage instead.

Rename every page to "WORSHIP THE HIGH WATERMELON"

Swap around all page images at random.

Rename all tropers to "This Troper".

Make me admin and declare that TV Tropes is only Xion now.

shift the numerical ascii of all capital letters by one

Spoil all the mundane stuff and expose all the plot twists of a work.

• Run a site-wide word-replacement script that changes every single instance of "cloud" to "butt", "sjw" to "skeleton", and all the other common ones that I can't remember off the top of my head.
• Make all Blue Links red and all Red Links blue.

Display this on the home page.

Make all links indistinguishable from ordinary text.

Change all the forum topic titles to "APRIL FOOLS!".

side note, this is one that I actually DID:
Make a photoshop of yourself spamposting on the forums◊, then act as if the mods had deleted those posts and banned you for them. When others ask why you did it, tell them that it's a secret reason... then tell them that said reason is April Fools!

Scramble the forum threads!

Redirect every forum thread to a different forum thread (unless that's what you meant, in which case...)

Redirect everything on the site to the home page.

Wait! I just got it! This new layout!

Make everyone's avatar an MS Paint Sonic OC.

Except with even wider margins that don't actually match anything.

it constantly changes between left and right, which leads to a totally random place for that one line of pixels

And the podcast and Facebook boxes are in the header now.

And the header follows you like on a crappy Wikia.

Make an Exposition Fairy for the wiki, and make it as annoying as Navi or Clippy

Do absolutely nothing on April 1st and then let the tropers theorize what the prank was.
