Flip a coin for me...the OOTS pic looks like it needs to be redone for artifacting, though.
I like the suggestion somewhat more, seeing as this trope family is about the various portrayals of gods. No to the current, it looks less god-like than the suggestion.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't think that's clearly Jesus in the suggestion.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Suggestion is leagues better. Maybe a caption saying "Kung-Fu Jesus vs. Good Old Fisticuffs Ganesha" to make it clear in case someone doesn't realize that's Jesus.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. That's an improvement to me.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm rather iffy about using real life religions, but sure.
Perhaps this piece of fan art from Smite?[1]
Maybe with a caption along the lines of "Oh my gods".
Or, maybe the cover art for Age of Mythology.[2]◊

The cover art is used on its own page. The other I don't quite feel. It's a little generic, perhaps?
Check out my fanfiction! The Smite one I don't care for as it doesn't really say "god" to me. I suppose knowing context I can see that there's Anubis there, but otherwise I would've thought it a generic fantasy cast.
I don't think there's an issue with real-life religion being used so long as one isn't shown winning. But that's just me.

Love me some SMT, but that's just a bad image.
My only issue with the Jesus vs. Ganesha image is that it, in conjunction with the name, could lead people to believe the trope is about Divine Conflict between pantheons when really it's much broader (it's basically "there are gods in this work").

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Agreed.

So, what is this trope about?
Apparently, it is "there are deities in this work, and that could mean virtually anything".
Clearly not a trope, IMO. I guess a Common Attributes Of Gods In Fiction article is worthwhile, but "Our Gods Are Greater" is a terrible name for it. Also, the current page image is misleading.
PS: Plants are not inanimate.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I thought it was all types of Deities exist or are used for something in a work and they have a tendency to fight each other or have rivalries IE Gods are Pokemon.
These Deities are from various folklore or legends around the world and not made up, basically a Fantasy Kitchen Sink for gods.

Isn't deities fighting each other covered by Divine Conflict?
I think that's more multiple gods within one theology, rather than multiple theologies clashing.
I am sure there are examples where gods don't fight each other, I just said they had a tendency to fight.
Things I was thinking of were like Shin Megami Tensei where gods, demons, angels of all cultures from Hindu, Shinto, Christian, Celtic, Native American, etc (list of them broken down by mythology) all appear and fight in various ways.
Or Highschool Dx D where angels and demons are having an antiterrorism conference and they invite the Norse pantheon to attend.
But since that does not seem to be what this is it is a moot point.

I retract my support for the suggestion on the grounds it's misleading on an already confusingly named trope.
From the name alone I thought it was "Gods of one pantheon fight another" and the picture wouldn't help.
While we're at it, I'd like to pull the current on similar grounds. It doesn't add much (given OOTS is both ubiquitous and [intentionally] not super pleasing to the eye), and while it is technically the trope, it definitely obfuscates the actual trope by having Divine Conflict and Celestial Bureaucracy.

Current image just feels like two characters talking about the trope, and even then it's a bit confusing unless you really read into it.
You want differing gods going at it, how about the last panel of this◊?
