Oh, that's horrible quality in the current...definitely needs to go. The suggestion is decent...it seems like the people are overwhelming the "instruments", though. Fat Albert◊ seems like the obvious choice to me. I'll see if I can find some good RL pics, too.

I prefer the OP suggestion.
I also don't think real bands that specialise in using odd objects to play on (rather than simply not having anything better) is the best way to show the trope either.
Check out my fanfiction!Bump; crowner? Any other suggestions?
I like the Fat Albert suggestion.

In that case, I think we need a crowner. Too many good options.

Votes bump...only one in the green.
It's been over a week, only one's in the green and votes have remained unchanged past few days. I think it's time to call it. Any objections?

None at all. Can someone please upload and add the winner? Thanks in advance. I've created the Image Links page from the other options.
Caption or no?
I think this is safe to lock.
No, the Image Source pages weren't updated yet.
Did so, and now it's good to lock.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The current image is blurry, has no source, and isn't a clear representation of this trope - one person is playing a pot-and-pan xylophone, but it's in the background to other 'proper' instruments. I propose this:
Alternative caption: "When Sylvain said, 'I want music with a vacuum cleaner,' I don't think he had in mind me using an actual vacuum cleaner to make the sound."
