In these cases it's best to remove the example, as obviously the copyright violation renders it unusable. See Weblinks Are Not Examples.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Um, it's not blocked in my country.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot blocked here (native country of Roxette) either.
The example at least explains what the video is supposed to be, which means it's not absolutely necessary to click it to understand it.
Check out my fanfiction! It doesn't matter, Septimus Heap and Another Duck; I already took Fighteer's advice, since the video was blocked in the U.S.. Sorry about that.

I can revert it, you know.
Such blocks are applied to enforce geographic licensing. They are not indicative of copyright violation - that would lead to a complete removal of the video.
Now, whether a link that is blocked somewhere should be used I dunno.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's right, Septimus Heap, but you need to add, "You could see the video [here], that is, if it wasn't blocked in your country."
Which just sounds passive aggressive and snarky. If the video's blocked, it's blocked, no need to make a fuss about it here.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives."...as in this video {link} (This video may be blocked in some countries.)"
That's all it needs.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
I have a problem. In the Trivia section of Roxette, it is claimed that a fan remade the original music video for "Almost Unreal" by replacing as much of the Super Mario Bros visuals as possible with Hocus Pocus footage and that we should see it. Unfortunately, in the link to the YouTube video, it says that "This video contains content from WMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds. Sorry about that." Now what? Is it even possible to create another fan-made video like this blocked video for YouTube and replace the blocked video link with a possible one?
