Saw last night that my Mega Man, Dedede, and Ike came in the mail. (Being completely honest, I'm not sure why I got an Ike, since I've never played a Fire Emblem game in my life. I do love the Kirby series and I love how Dedede plays, though—he's become one of my mains in this iteration of the game, such a good heavy-hitter while also not being too slow and having good defense. As for Mega Man, I liked his look enough in this game that I felt it'd be criminal not to get an amiibo of him, and I've recently been getting into the series.)
Samus I'd actually picked up on a whim when I got her. I went to the mall to visit a friend of mine at her job, but she wasn't there. So I'd wandered around the mall for a while and decided I'd feel like I'd look stupid and ridiculous for some reason if I left the mall empty handed, since my reason for going in the first place was a flop, and just decided to get a Samus amiibo in the Gamestop there since I wanted to travel to Russia and bypass their subway security.
The postscript of this story is that I wouldn't have walked out empty-handed anyway had I not bought it, since an attractive salesperson flirted her way into getting me to buying a set of heating pads that I could not at all afford.

I wonder what the second batch of Mario Party 10 amiibo will include. I'm guessing new versions of DK, Rosalina, and Wario alongside Daisy and Waluigi.
Well, I just got Smash Bros Yoshi on clearance. At least that's one figure I own that'll work with Mario Party 10. I probably shouldn't feed it too many items if I decide to use it in Smash for the meantime though.
Huh, I also just now realized the Toon Link amiibo also unlocks the Link racing suit in MK 8. I guess that's logical and all.

Ordered Bowser and Peach from Walmart. Those are the only ones I could find at their normal price. God dammit Nintendo.

Well, I wasn't really planning on get any more amiibos, but I actually managed to find a Sonic at a Best Buy near me when I was going to preorder Xenoblade 3D. They also happened to have Sheik, but I didn't get that one. Still, good find?

I hope it's not just Marth. What they should really do is release a wave consisting entirely of reprints. Just make it the hard to find figures like Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Marth, Captain Falcon, Pit, and Little Mac. Nintendo is really losing out by not capitalizing on the demand for the hard to find figures.

Samus seems to be getting harder to find lately. I'm kind of glad she was the first one I picked up back when they first released wave one.
