I almost forgot to mention that fellow R Per, Bcom, is my Co-GM. A experienced man in mecha-based R Ps, thus I appointed him to this position.

I can say that No, those will likely not be available simply because as someone who has played the game I know how powerful those units are.

Also Anubis is evil with a psychotic AI who's only line in the games is 'I was created to destroy all'. That's not exactly a good unit to have on the good guy team.

Maximum size and minimum size for the robots?

I'd say a maximum of 70-80 meters, since the bigger you get the more vulnerable you are to a one man fighter shoving a torpedo down your exhaust port.

Minimum size would probably be 3 meters tall, any smaller might get you classified as a powered armor which is allowed but I don't think it'd be a mech anymore if it was that small

  • Abilities/Skills/Powers: Magic Spells. However, in order to cast her stronger spells, she has to read her Spellbook of Wisdom. Otherwise, she can only cast basic spells.
  • Inventory: a Spellbook filled with the spells from the Spellbook Library Tower.
  • Bio: A prominent spellcaster hailing from Paris, France. In this timeline, the Eiffel Tower was converted into the Grand Spellbook Tower library and she teaches magic to young magicians. Since the destruction of her planet, she wants to teach the survivors of the planet destruction her spells because she wants to prevent the death of magic.
  • Other Traits: Loves cooking and calls people nicknames only she finds funny. Also, she used her magic to keep herself beautifully young forever.

  • Armor: Lightweight metal. Because of this, it's quite speedy at the cost of taking more damage when hit.
  • Abilities/Powers: Flying, Channeling the user's magic to boost its power in combat
  • Inventory:
    • Magic Cannons: A modification of the original Weissritter's Beam Cannons. This lets Junon cast magic spells while piloting the Weissritter.
    • Split Missiles: These are more advanced versions of the split missiles the normal Gespenst has, stored on the upper backpack that can launch and split open to reveal smaller missiles.
    • Hera Rifle: Comes in two modes: B Mode, which lets Junon fire bullets at her foe, and M Mode, which lets her combine the rifle's bullets with her natural magic.
  • Technology & Combat Characteristics: It's capable of firing shots and magic spells from a long distance. If cornered, it can easily flee because of its lightweight armor.

I'm still unsure of my character, but I am however certain of what machine I'll use.

  • Name: Idolo Trial Type
  • Unit Type: General Purpose High-speed combat
  • Model Number: OFS-X-00
  • Manufacturer: Neredium Universal Technology
  • Armor: Titanium-Ceramic composite enhanced with Metatron weave and built upon Carbon Nanotube frame.
  • Abilities/Powers: Flight at mach 7.2 in the atmosphere of an Earth-like planet, can reenter the atmosphere of an Earth-like planet without any outside assistance or equipment, near-unlimited operational time and can self-repair during battle through the consumption of Metatron Ore Packets to kickstart the regenerative properties of it's Metatron-based construction.
  • Inventory:
    • Vector Trap: Idolo's most unique piece of equipment and its trump card. It is a "pocket dimension" of Compressed space that allows Idolo to store weapons, supplies and ammunition without the need to actually carry them on its person. While there is no upper limit as to what Idolo can store inside the Vector Trap, too much mass inside of it will cause the Orbital Frame's performance to drop.
    • Blade: A short, wrist-mounted energy blade. Not much else to say about this weapon.
    • Hand Laser: Each of Idolo's fingers contain a rapid-fire laser blaster, that while individually weaker than even a beam vulcan; is however extremely potent in close-quarters combat and can be a grave threat when they all fire at the same target.
    • Gravity Shield: Mounted on the left arm, this device uses Metatron's ability to compress space in order to warp gravity to its runner's whims, causing most physical projectiles and even some forms of energy weapons that rely on direct impact with their target to do damage to curve and warp away from Idolo. Though lasers, powerful explosives and sufficiently powerful projectile weaponry like Railguns or Gravitic Impulse weapons can defeat the Gravity Shield.
    • Metatron AI core: A highly experimental and unproven piece of equipment, the Metatron AI core is supposedly capable of exponentially increasing the machine's combat potential through the development of a self-learning, semi-sentient Combat AI that will assist its Frame Runner as a co-pilot or even take complete control should the Runner be rendered unfit to fly. But as it currently stands, the AI core hasn't been engaged yet due to lack of research in the field and security concerns.
  • Technology & Combat Characteristics: It is extremely fast and agile and combined with its near-unlimited operational time, is the perfect scout/patrol unit while still more than capable of engaging numerically superior enemies and coming out on top. Also, Vector Trap.

ok questor, I'm sorry to say this but it's too much. I know that that is the natural ability of the Idolo because I'm a fan of zone of the enders myself but I think orbital frames might be too much for this game.

Of course. But However, I came prepared with a Nerf Bat. While Idolo can regenerate, it's also rather fragile in comparison to a Mobile Suit and it can't carry Metatron ore packets in its Vector Trap due to the unfortunate habit of the ore instantly fusing with more of itself the moment it comes in contact, thus wasting perfectly good ore. It's gravity shield only protects it's front part and forces Idolo to remain immobile while it is active and finally, for all of its potential firepower and versatility; the Vector Trap takes time to use, rendering Idolo vulnerable while it tries to get a weapon out and it usually takes a couple of seconds.

  • Appearance: Picture
  • Abilities/Skills/Powers: His reflexes are above average, which helps him to react quickly in dangerous situations.
  • Inventory: Combat Knife and an M1911
  • Bio: His ancestors were Vagans, and many of them fought against the Earth Federation in the war. The tragedy of the failed “Mars' Birthday” project and the conflicts that came from it made Ray more than willing to leave for greener pastures when the opportunity presented itself. It was then that he started doing odd mercenary jobs as a way to get by.
  • Other Traits: Is generally kind of spacy and not particularly serious, though he becomes more focused an even a bit bloodthirsty once he's in battle.

Mecha

  • Name: Vagan Gear Sid
  • Unit Type: Mid/Close Range Aerial Fighter
  • Model Number: xvg-xxx
  • Manufacturer: EXA-DB and the Vagan
  • Armor: The Sid mobile armor provides a formidable defense for the otherwise slim and fragile Vagan Gear. It is capable of repairing itself, given enough time.
  • Abilities/Powers: Can use the Invisible Umbrella Stealth System to evade detection and reappear for surprise attacks.
  • Inventory: Beam cannons: Has 6 beam cannons on its wings that can change their course of fire, making it possible to hit targets from unexpected directions. It also contains beam sabers for each of its arms, and can fire missiles than lock onto and seek targets using Dark Feather.
  • Technology & Combat Characteristics: Vagan Gear Sid has impressive speed and firepower, which makes it an exceptional air fighter. It is 31 meters tall.

Ok, finally here now.

So looking at Questor's profile, seems reasonable but trying to specifically gauge the mech's feat is trying way too hard. Unfortunately, I have to say no.

@Hil: Hmmm, I say your pretty good.

May I suggest some points regarding the Vagans, considering this is SRW inspired, some Fix Fic elements could take place:

  • The "Mars Birthday" incident happened under different circumstances. The "Mars Rays" aren't actually magnetic rays but a secret bioglogical attack by the Jupiter Empire and Zanscare Empire. The two empires then aid the Vagans and pointed fingers at the Earth Federation, starting a war between Earth and them. The motive is just misguided justice against the Federation.
  • At some point, someone leaked info to the Vagans about the true nature of the incident, cue an Enemy Civil War that greatly.
  • Unrelated but I can suggest that the Vagan Gear is pretty much a 2000 year relic?

The Type-4 is pretty much a zonvolt family heirloom by this point, so another ancient unit is no surprise. Heck I think the weissritter spell casting type is as old as it's pilot.

Doing this first until suitable mech is found:

  • Name: Mark Yun Lee
  • Gender: Male
  • Race: Human
  • Appearance: Based on Will Yun Lee in terms of physical features, except that he's just turned 29.
  • Abilities/Skills/Powers: He is bilingual in English and Korean, although he's still studying Japanese. Thanks to his time in the military and SMS, as well as being trained in the family Dojang and part-time club activities in high school from the Kendo club, he is skilled in piloting various mobile weapons including Valkyries, close quarters combat, unarmed combat, small arms and VIP protection.
  • Inventory: A Pindad PS-01 pistol and a karambit knife alongside his wallet. Alternate would be an Armscor 1911A2-45 FS PS pistol with an attached Surefire 310R weaponlight. He has a Manurhin MR-73 Gendarmerie revolver equipped with a 4 inch barrel and synthetic rubber grips as a secondary sidearm.
  • Bio: A descendant of the famous Korean-American actor Will Yun Lee, his family had fled from Earth and the Milky Way after the death of the planet before he was born in space. While his family coped with living in space and eventually had a normal life, the family continued with the legacy of the Lee family by either teaching Taekwondo to the public and to Andromeda Federation security forces or by breaking into the TV and movie industry. Mark decided to join the Andromeda Federation military instead by joining the officer's corp in the military academy before he was recruited to join special forces after a few years of service. After a disastrous mission where his unit was eliminated, he tendered his resignation to join the Strategic Military Services after being made as the scapegoat by high-ranking AFM officials. He left with an honourable discharge with the rank of Captain.
  • Other Traits: He speaks English with a slight California-based accent. Prior to his military service, he had spent time at the family Dojang to teach young high school students on Taekwondo.

I may have found two (One is Megas). But before I put it on.

1. I assume it's fine to make some slight changes to the mech from canon sources since this is treated like in Super Robot Wars?

2. Is it possible to change mechs in-universe case the mech gets destroyed to a point that it can't be salvaged and repaired?
