Plus from the image alone, I'd probably think it was standard Power Perversion Potential where a lover shapeshifts to another form for funsies (which I thought was the point of Shapeshifters Do It for a Change, but apparently that's about gender dynamics. Huh).

We don't do animated images. Mystique is an obvious choice, but I'd hate to use two images. We might have to though. I'm not in favor of 1 or 7. Even the brightened one is just too poor in quality.

What about from First Class, have her in the bed mid-shapeshift? Would it be clear enough? I mean, she's in a seductive pose there.
I'm still against the Mystique images because I feel like it'll lead to misuse; they mostly just look like she's shapeshifting for Power Perversion Potential, which isn't the trope.

I don't like the OP or any variant of it just because I don't think it makes a good image. Something from 11 may be okay, but it will need some work to fit right.

The clock is way past due on this one and there's no consensus on anything. Locking up.
Here's a possibility from a scene from X2: X-Men United where Mystique changes her appearance a few times in a row to mess with Wolverine. The first one is in the correct order, but I think flipping them around illustrates the trope a bit better.
