Opening. To me, the 3th picture in your post is the best - they look somewhat like a nerd. The two image suggestion is not only too complex, but doesn't look nerdy at all.

1.3 is the best out of those.

Yeah, I'm good with 1.3.

Wait, which one is 1.3? You mean the 3rd picture down? Cause that looks more hipster than nerd to me.

I'm not entirely convinced either.

This one is hard to find a good image of that doesn't fall squarely in an existing subtrope.

I agree, it looks more like a hipster.

1.4 alone works best for me. 1.3 look more hipster than nerd.

It's been over a year since the image was changed, but I still think it's important. Better late than never, right?
On June 26th, 2013, eroock added the first picture. On the same day, eroock changed it to the same guy, but a different picture (the 2nd picture). Finally, on December 4th, 2013, spiderlily changed it to the 3rd picture, with the edit reason "this picture is better". That reason seems subjective to me, and it appears that spiderlily changed the picture without discussion.
I propose the 4th and 5th pictures together. With the captions, they demonstrate that the glasses are Nerd Glasses. The only problem I see with my 2 pictures is that, for some reason, they show up on the left. Does anyone know why that might be, and if so, how do I fix it?
