It's a shame Irina's HP is terrible, she'd work okay with the Ramjet Rifle for the fight.

The writers hate Gwin obviously.

His job is to be balanced DPS- He can put the hurt down, albeit not as well as others, and can handle being the center of enemy aggro for a while, though, again, not as long as others.

It's particularly highlighted by how even-keel Ultraslash and Grenade Blitz are- Neither are game changing arts but both have utility value.

I don't know, Ultraslash is a pretty big letdown and isn't too different from Rising Blade.

You can't have two slots filled by Rising Blade.

I suppose. But I prefer to keep up to only two melee arts, and everyone knows that True Stream Edge/Tornado Blade and Blossom Dance take higher priority.

Two of which are acquired long after you can get Ultraslash, and one of which takes some tinkering to make great.

I pretty much only used Ultraslash because Rising Blade didn't really do much for me since I ignored most of the taunt arts in the class. Also I think I may have had Tornado Blade already when I got Ultraslash.

Alright. So I decided to start down falling some Definians.

1) How do you actually upgrade the Ramjet Rifle? I tried to do it at the usual spot, but since it doesn't have any extra abilities, I can't.

2) What the hell is with the quest? When Erio asked me whether to kill Fortun or not, I tried both and it ended the same: they gave me no idea what to do next.

When I spared her, Erio just asked who could take the info without destroying her, but there was no prompt about where to go next.

When I let Erio kill her, she said I needed to find her sisters and kick their asses, but didn't give me any clue where to go.

Am I still missing something? Cause Definians need to go down yesterday.

If you want to reprogram her, you go to Professor B.

Ok. Why wasn't the game telling me that?

And why wasn't it showing me where the Definian base is when I chose to kill her?

I'm not sure how it goes if you kill Fortun, but I think you go straight to the Ganglion Antropolis. It's a cave near some lava by the castle ruins.

Cool, but again, how would I know that if the game doesn't give me a location at all.

It's a very odd choice. Where's my yellow arrow pointing me at.....oh wait. I never highlighted the mission before I did it.

Walk up to the middle of the force fields in then Antropolis until you see the prompt to deactivate them. I never had a problem with them but reports online call them finicky, so I'm erring on the side of caution.

Right. I've been doing it. Went with re-programming Fortun as well....

Her acting like a child is kinda funny.

And now I gotta find three fucking keys to get to the last part of the level. that's bullshit man. I can see why I was told to get some aural and visual cloaking shit. Way too many enemies to fight....

Probably gonna try anyway though. Easier to just clear them all out.

I'll likely die a lot, but that's tomorrow. Wore myself out just getting to this point.

If you just kill Fortun like I always do, you just have to go to the Antropolis.

Eh. It was tough getting that Xe-dom, but it wasn't so bad either.

I'll try killing her next time....if I get the chance to replay it. I feel like I've spent so much time on this that I might not come back cause there's other stuff I want to get to.

Double post:

Where do I go to find the keys? Whether I go through by stealth or by running around like a moron trying to kill everything, knowing where the keys are will make things a bit easier.

This is for Definian Downfall by the way.

One of them in on a cliff to the left where you first enter the cave. One of them is being held by an enemy (go right when you enter the cave and make another right, you'll see the Milsaadi holding it). The third is behind this enemy, beyond the wall.

Alright. The Definians have fallen down. Also, I gotta say, maxed out last stand plus the ramjet rifle for quick tp gain, plus having high TP means you can get mass overdrives pretty easily. I'm gonna need to keep that in mind it seems.

I think I'm gonna go back to rifles and keep this guy for the rest of the game.

So I finally got the mission I was after. Didn't know why it took so long though
