The suggestions aren't bad. The first panel of this is another good option.
I like [1]◊.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Ok wow the current is horrid, its not even this trope.
L from Death Note is how these are usually represented in animation. [1]◊[2]◊ or Whats her face from Railgun◊[3]◊

I like 1.2
I like 1.2 best. The anime pictures look like a weird shading decision, even though I know what they're supposed to be,

L looks like makeup. Fight Club looks the best.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I could have sworn there had already been a discussion about this, but after some fruitless searching, I can only conclude I was thinking of this thread, not remembering that it dropped out of view without being opened.
Anyway, the current image barely shows anything at all. 1.2 is much better.
The current is subtle, but definitely the trope. Probably too subtle, though, going by the discussion here. I think it's clear enough.
3 sort of works.
Check out my fanfiction!3 works.
Pretty sure 3 and 1.2 are the same image.
Personally, I like 1.1 more; the bags are more pronounced. Either one's better than the current, though - I can kind of see discoloration underneath her eyes, but it's way too faint.

Moon◊Wait, 1.2 and 3 are the same picture? I thought the Current pic was 1.1 and 1.2 was the shot from the film. I like 1.1 best, in that case
I suppose you could count current as 1.1, but there's not really much point in giving it a post number distinction when it already has the distinction of being the current image. ¯\__/¯
Still, if you did assign the current image 1.1 due to it being listed in the OP, then 1.3 and 3 are the same image, and it'd be 1.2 I prefer.

Moon◊And that's why I referred to it as "3".
Check out my fanfiction!Well, in that case, my vote actually goes to 1.3/3.
The guy looks more exhausted in that image, and the eyebags can still be seen.

I support Jack's exhausted eyeballs (Fight Club).
I prefer 1.2. 1.3 is a painting.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Clock is set.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman1.2 seems to get enough love to make a call here, no?
Agreed; it's up, potholed, and tagged. I've cut the clock and starred the thread for caption discussion...I had an idea but I dunno that the story's plot twist has entered It Was His Sled territory.

I don't think so.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. It's been a few days with no caption discussion other than ; locking up.
The trope is about eye bags underneath the eyes. The current image shows eyes slightly closed, which may lead to misuse of the trope.
Current:
Here's a suggestion from the movie Fight Club, although we should be able to find a better demonstration in others works.
