Eh, might as well post this up anyways in case somebody drops.

• Name: July Tallspine
• Gender: Male
• Age: 19
• Birthday: Novus 12
• Race: Faunus
• Parents: February... Well, more like one of her younger sisters.
• Appearance: He is not a tall guy, as he stands about 4'9. He has short, slightly spiky white hair that points down and amber eyes. While he does have a straight back like his aunt, July's face is relatively normal aside from the scattering of grey scales around the edges and his pale skin. Surprisingly slight for his age and level of activity, he tends to combine that with odd clothing choices. His usual attire consists of black dress pants cut off at the knees, a short sleeved dress shirt, suspenders, and black leather dress shoes.

• Weapons and Equipment:
  • White Death: A large black bazooka styled after a shark's head, White Death launches thermobaric rockets at velocities approaching that of sniper rifles. It can only hold one rocket at a time, but it doubles as a surprisingly sturdy club when out of ammo.
  • Shark Teeth: These kunai have Dust-infused explosives embedded in them, as well 3 second timers on their hilts. They require a quick double tap on the detonator to start counting down.
  • Five Finger Farewell: One black leather glove with sharp claws on the fingers, with a miniature explosive implanting device behind each claw. Each miniature Dust explosive is capable of blowing a hole in steel plating.

• Semblance: Bites the Dust: July can infuse up to 1 pound of Dust at one time with his aura, allowing him to detonate it remotely as long as it is within his line of sight. He has to make bare skin contact with it or its container, and he can only maintain that single explosive charge for 1 minute before it fizzles out and he has to reapply it.

• Personality: July is a hyperactive guy, almost cutesy in his mannerisms and a little too friendly even with complete strangers. He acts as young as he looks, being rather trusting and naive. July also doesn't get the idea of personal space, and sees no problem in being all touchy. Explosives are his sort of thing, despite his training in stealth. Of course, he prefers many small explosions to singular large explosions. While he does speak in short bursts like his aunt, he also happens to be very talkative and outgoing. As such, he tends to practically fill up conversations with lots of gesturing, physical contact, and one-word sentences. Oddly enough, despite his generally jovial attitude, he has a less than bright opinion of his aunt.

• Bio: Born in the Tallspine Tribe's ancestral grounds, July was raised as a hunter of animals. Over time, his talents in stealth impressed the elders of his family, which convinced them to send him to a more modern settlement for further training. It was at this time he discovered a love for modern machinery, and with it the glorious beauty of explosives. While his hobbies didn't exactly mesh well, his relatives saw in him the potential to become a true Hunter and wash away the shame that was February. With that, they convinced him to apply to Beacon and make a name for himself.

I was gonna cook up Rufus's test-tube baby.

Wow. This filled up quicker than I thought.

• Name: Rokoko* Snikersnax (*Kokoro is Japanese for 'heart')
• Gender: Female
• Age: 17
• Birthday: Tempestas 9
• Race: Human
• Parents: Rufus / Cherry / Turkey Baster / Test Tube
• Appearance: Oh boy, does your mother let you walk outside like that? So yeah, Rokoko looks like- *looks it up again* -Risty, the Wasteland Bandit from Queens Blade, except younger I imagine. She is a taaall girl and she shows a lot more of her grandmother Sapphire's features. She dresses a little more conservatively, rather in a red skin-tight suit (ala Samus's Zero Suit) with the breast plate of her power suit over it.
• Weapons and Equipment: Cantus Rubeus, Rokoko wears armor her mother and her "Uncle" Pius helped her build. It acts as a focus for her aura and uses it as its fuel, using dust as a medium and supplement. This lets her achieve some fairly interesting effect, so long as she has the personal power for it, at least.
  - Energy blasts. Unfortunately, as a Snikersnax, she still cannot aim worth a shit. Instead, she used them to back up her short-range and CQC attacks.
  - Speed, in short bursts or just with a single body part and then not in a very nuanced fashion. Trying anything more result in hilarity.
  - Strength
  - Energy shield. She may raise one up with a gesture, it size and strength proportional to how much her aura she's willing to place into it.
  - Flight
  Starting as a breastplate of bright shiny silver, it shifts and grows into full body armor except for the head. It studded all over with tiny red crystals and when she puts her power into it they will glow, eventually covering the entire set with the bright red sheen. If she shoves a lot of power at once, red static will arc between crystals.
• Semblance: Heavy Ambience, Rokoko clenches her whole body into a rigid pose to make her body into a proper conduit, and let out a loud, drawn out primal scream to empty her body of breath and make room for something else. As her body becomes surrounded by a bright strobing red light, Rokoko starts to absorb ambient energy all around her and convert it into aura.
• Personality: To her father's delight, she inherited his fire without the inferno. Look into her eyes, you will not see much restraint or regret, caution or care. There will be ecstasy without ennui, indulgence and irrationality. She is passion, chaos, screaming, laughing. She is compassionate as she is passionate, kind as well as chaotic.
• Bio: In later years, Rufus became friends with pryomaniacal woman called Cherry. Both hand bents toward their own sex but found each other easy company. She came to want a child and convinced him to donate the material to help her conceive. He came to want to be a father too and she accepted this. She let the clan adopt her daughter, so long as she remained her mother, even if Cherry wasn't a part of the clan herself. The Snikersnax were willing to put up with a lot of things to get a child out of their champion and acquiesced to her demands. Rufus, for his part, was bemused by the rather odd family he just created.

Alright, so after a long time thinking and watching the actual thread, I've finally gotten around to making my signup.

• Name: Zoe D'marco
• Gender: Female
• Age: 18
• Birthday: The second of Aurum
• Race: Faunus
• Appearance: Zoe is a reasonably attractive fox Faunus. Perhaps looking a year or two older for her age in a prim, tailored suit dress she generally gazes out at the world from large eyes glinting with a stunning teal iris. Draped around her expressions and atop her triangular head sits a slightly messy crop of jet-black hair tending red towards the tips from which poke the furry triangle ears that betray her Faunus nature (perhaps not quite as obviously as the swishing black tail poking out the back of her skirt). Definitely a cutie.
• Weapons and Equipment: Pepperpot. Among the baggage brought by Zoe on arrival at the academy is a beat-up old duffel bag, laying within is her weapon, an antique hand-cranked gatling gun. The gun itself looks old and utiliarian, the only components that do not look like part of the original gun being an upgraded ammunition feed, a backup motor with an attached battery and three metal panels on hinges. When the situation calls for a close combat approach the panels flip down over the barrels and the rotation of the gun instead becomes the rotation of a drill.
• Semblance: Push the Lane! In the momentary rush of happiness from a small victory on the battlefield, Zoe pulls strength from her spirit and channels it into a rallying cry. Zoe and those who join the cry push forward in group, striking down any enemy that gets in their way.
• Personality: To sum it up, Zoe is a seeker of the awesome. Never one to take anything too deeply or let a bad situation bring down her mood Zoe strides through life with a mood ranging from calm contentness to excessive, energetic happiness most of the time. Zoe loves a lot of things, from combat to home cooking, from making people blush in embarrasment to absolutely decimating the face of a Grimm (as in the literal meaning, removing a tenth of said face). It takes a lot to bring Zoe to sadness or anger, and when it does her semi-permanent smile just gets larger as her mind gives into a little bit of madness.
• Bio: Sometimes the great Hunters of an age are the descendants of the great heroes of the past. Sometimes, they are newcomers filled with ambition and the power to exercise it coming from a background of darkness and strife... And then there's people like Zoe. Good family, good home, a relatively strife-free childhood (barring some minor issues concerning her race), she decided to come to Beacon simply to learn how to fight and fill a small hole in her life with defending her kin and fellows against the Grimm and other such darknesses.

I'll submit Rooty Tooty Run and Shooty from the Ultimate Server thread, then. If need be I can repost the sheet here. And if he manages to get into Next I'll remove the sheet from the Ultimate thread and come up with a new character when the time comes.

Not like a little technical thing like "your character isn't a direct descendant" is gonna stop me. :P

Not all the characters are direct descendants. Some, like James and Scarlet, are completely original and unrelated to the Ultimate cast. So you can totally have your character join. Grim just has to give the profile his approval.

In that case I'll stop cluttering up the thread with posts like this and play the good ol' waiting game.
