NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

Solution: Don't use IE. This update's buggy enough without the devs having to code twice.
IE 9 support is definitely not in the cards. The bug in Chrome with the edit window is fixed in the development site, the beta for which should be up any week now.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It might just be me, but the site seems to be running a lot more slowly than usual.

A couple of days ago, my browser started crashing whenver I'd visit the TV Tropes page, typically after a few minutes of browsing but especially when trying to add a post in the forums. The odd part is that this is affecting both my laptop AND desktop, even when different internet connections are involved (I tether my phone's wifi to the laptop to use it's data connection when I'm at work). This is not affecting the other forums or websites I frequent either, hence why I think this is an issue specifically related to either the ads being shown on TV Tropes or the website's coding.
I believe the issue might be partially related to the shockwave app, or any background applications being run when browsing TV Tropes. Reason why is because I decided to check the processes and the amount of CPU power they were using, and one of the Google Chrome processes was taking over 300,000k, and rapidly grew from that. As soon as I shut it down, the site began to act normally for a few minutes. Unfortunately the issue repeated itself shortly afterwards, the CPU processes increased in size, and the site crashed again. Any ideas what the cause might be, guys?
It might be related to the ads. If this happens again, try and do an inspect element on the page and open the console. If you see a bunch of stuff flooding in, take a screenshot if you can and send it our way.
The bug that I reported still happens in wiki editing.

Sometimes when on my iPhone (5, I think?), the site doesn't load. I'm not sure if it was just because the site was down or some other issue, but it's happened to me at least 3 time.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Well good news... whatever was causing the site to crash for me has stopped, and the site is behaving normally again.
Absolutely no idea what I did (or didn't) do though - I didn't even get the chance to implement the troubleshooting advice Drewski mentioned.
So is there something wrong with the youtube markup?
Its still broken.
Has been for over a month now, and it is a known issue.
Okay, I'm using my LG tablet and something is wrong with the search function. The pages come up blank.
So...why is the search broken? The page comes up blank when you try to search something.
I too am being affected by blank pages when I use search.
I dunno. I tried emptying my cache and resetting my tablet, but the same thing keeps happening.
The same thing happens to me, but I'm on desktop and using Google Chrome. When will the "empty search page" be fixed?
Firefox, Windows 7.
Same issue with blank search.
Same blank search problem. Chrome and Windows 10 here.
Glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this. Now, is it ever gonna be fixed?
Also getting the blank search of doom. Running Linux Mint 17 and Firefox, so it's not just a Windows problem. Firebug reports some pretty big-ugly Javascript errors: something to do with a URI being too long, but that happens on every page, not just search.
Blank search issues as well. Firefox on Windows 8.1.

We aren't sure what happened with the search, but will get it fixed asap.
Search thing looks fixed now, it wasn't working for me either earlier.
I'm having trouble with viewing on IE 9 on Windows Vista. (I get it, my computer's old, moving on.) When I open the home page, it freezes and the browser has to restart. This then happens again after a few pages.
