Sadly Sci-Fi doesn't show original monster movies anymore.
I wasted away many a weekday afternoon watching teenagers who cant act get eaten by cloned animals.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsThankfully Netflix has picked up the slack. So many "gems" waiting to be discovered.
Judo is my waifucan I watch Sci-Fi original movies again?
God help me I miss the damn things.

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsYes you can. Pretty much all of them I think.
Judo is my waifuA couple of them actually weren't bad. Dagon, Dog Soldiers and Abominable were all solid movies.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsAn interesting one came up on My Network TV (the network that replaced WB or UPN depending on where you live), called "Into the Electric Mist." It was one hell of a trainwreck, backed by A-list starpower oddly enough. Tommy Lee Jones and John Goodman, with Jones as (what else) a southern cop, this time in Louisiana Bayou country, while Goodman played a New Orleans gangster who claimed he had gone straight and become an investor in movies.
Something something hooker-murdering serial killer, wild amounts of police brutality and other shady tactics on the part of Jones' character that almost made the thing Gray-and-Gray Morality, a female character who gets Fridged for no reason (seriously, she was the girlfriend of a peripheral character, a movie star in the bayou for the Goodman-funded film, a Civil War flick about Confederate General John Hood). At one point, the gangster's spike Jones' drink with PCP, which causes him to go on an acid trip that leads to a hallucination that he went back to civil war times, where he meets General Hood, but then General Hood continues showing up later on ostensibly as acid flashbacks, dispensing advice to Jones' character.
Not even the title made any goddamn sense.
whoops, darn my British spelling of Gray.

I need to watch that.
Judo is my waifuI'm considering watching Killer Nerd simply because one of my friends is the title character. No, really.
Dead Snow is reasonably entertaining after enough alcohol.
Judo is my waifuVampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl is definitely a candidate for most wtf movie of all time 11/10.
Judo is my waifuThis thread specifically violates our rules about complaint topics. Closing.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"After discussion, we're going to give this a chance. Keep it focused on why you enjoy them — if it becomes just bashing, it will be closed again.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I've been think of getting into movies by The Asylum. Their shark series looked amusing.
Shapeshifter was a lot of fun. Wonderful Snark Bait. Our favorite part was nicknaming the cast: "Officer Tanktop", "Rope-A-Dope", and "Nutless" come to mind.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Also, anybody who likes bad movies should check out Fanboy Flicks on youtube.
EDIT: Way better than Cinema Sins, who get kinda whiny sometimes.

Why can't we just rename this thread "A Thread for B Movies", since that's what we're really talking about here.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Cause it would be limiting. I mean, if you want to see shitty but funny movies, remember Ultraviolet and The Dark is Rising. Holy shit, those were some funny movies.
That is what the Synchtube Coven is all about, except we see the movies and riff on them instead of talking about them at length.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoy the B movies and movies so bad they are good. When they take themselves seriously it is pretty campy to the point of making me laugh. When they don't take themselves too seriously I tend to just enjoy them. I really enjoy most of the stuff Bruce Campbell stars in for that reason.
One of the best things though is watching the movies with others and riffing on them for fun.
Also yet another shameless plug for the Synchtube Troper Coven. Courtesy Link Watch b-movies with other tropers and riff on them.

Who watches the watchmen?I love watching Cold Harvest. Gary Daniels is fun to watch. Not a very good movie overall but a blast to see. Heck anyone remember The Park is Mine with Tommy Lee Jones. Awesome straight to tv movie and hard to find anymore.
You know, the movies you watch at 2am because you can't sleep and you want to laugh at something stupid? Well let's talk about them here. I'm currently watching Ninja II on netflix, and it's just as cringey as you would expect.
