The current could definitely use a quality upgrade; not sussed on the Homestuck suggestion.

I'm not a huge fan of it either; it's just one of the links on the page I had time to dig up an image for.
My only gripe with the current (aside from the quality) is that all other things being equal, I'd prefer to have an image from a work.

Meh, that one really needs a collage showing a bunch of types instead of just Yugi.
I'd agree with a montage too, as this trope has plenty variants. Showing just rainbow-hued hair hints that it would need that many colors to qualify, when it isn't the case.

How many different types would we want? If we went with what we have so far we'd have Western Animation, webcomics, and video games covered. Would we want one more from something live-action?

I think 11.3 is the best suggestion so far.

I prefer the current.
Don't like 11.3 because of how obviously photoshoped the rainbow hair is. It even looks painted on/around the model.
The current is best still because it looks like real hair that's multicolored.

21.7 is pretty good. I'm not a fan of the other Delirium ones though. They have too much distracting from the hair.

I like the simplicity of the current. There's nothing else in the image to distract from the trope.
The caption is dumb though.

I like the current (but its caption is dumb), and I don't like 11.3 (which looks very fake/cheap to me).

Image is really artifacted, and I don't think it's from a work in any case.
As for suggestions, there's always Rainbow Dash, in either human
or pony
form.
