Your getting the wrong idea about how Tracer's story should go. She is clearly the all-loving hero type who's only or main flaw is that she's too loving & idealistic.
What your supposed to do with those characters is subject to all sorts of emotional pain & traumatic events. That's what you should of with her, just put her on all these adventures that constantly challenges & bruises her idealism to make her a woobie. Like she came out on the other side safe & whole with her morality intact but its makes you wanna go "Wow this girl has been through a lot, seriously."
There already doing that starting with the Alive short. The woman failed to stop an assassination of an important peace figure on her home-turf which soon devolved into a horrible race-war as a result & when she tearfully asked the perpetrator what was the point in all this who then responded by mocking her & making a clean getaway.
Tracer really scored some trauma points there, poor girl.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Tracer also seems to be one of the more blatant Escapist Character in the game. I think the only one that could come close to this are just Lucio and D.Va.
Also the racism in King's Row has been existing even when Mondatta lived, he just served as a middle road. His death means any hopes for peace get slimmer, not 'it turned into a hellhole.', that feels implying that everything was all peaceful when Mondatta lived.

Yeah, the King's Row uprising happened while Mondatta was alive (the comic mentions that he was being held hostage by Null Sector). My assumption is that Human-Omnic relations took a serious hit after that, but Mondatta still had a lot of human supporters and it wasn't until his assassination that things fell apart completely and the Omnics had to go underground.
Honestly, Zarya not turning evil might be a better twist than anything. You know, Sombra tries to blackmail her and stuff, only to be forcefully silenced.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Seagul playing Zenyatta.
I suppose good Offense players can transition well into good Zenyatta players.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.@TPPR: If we go by the tone of the game, I don't think your scenario would be a twist... but more like the expected outcome.
In a complete note, I would love to see Genji in Naruto's setting.
He should be at least in a mid-level tier.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Have you ever gotten potg, but don't know why? Because earlier today I got play of the game for killing Zenyatta, then getting knocked off a cliff by Reinhardt. And this was a game where I took out two people on the cart to prevent an overtime win.
One time on the indoor Nepal map, I tried to rain justice above the point, but the ribbons(?) blocked my view and I killed one person with it. But apparently, that was the most interesting thing anyone did that match.
From what was said by you guys, do you think that Overwatch may ultimately fall on the idealistic sliding scale?
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy. The moment when ribbons out of all things blocks your path of destruction and instead kills you.
Once i got POTG by soloing a Pharmercy combo as Zenyatta.
Never underatimate the right click my friend. No mercy can heal through 5 balls to the face.
Uni catJust wondering, how many characters have their Base of Operations outside their home country? The only two I can think of are Genji and Soldier: 76, a Japanese and an American residing in Nepal and Egypt, respectively. I guess Winston too, but I hardly count him because he's from the Moon.
Just something I've thought about because with such an emphasis on characters traveling I'd imagine their being more expats than two.

Author. No healer can, for that matter. Not even Ana now that her heal bonus is only 1.5x.
Off-season competitive feels like QP, minus the double sniper/double Shimada instalock and plus 100% Mirror Match Pharmercy every game. Sigh.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!I feel like for the most part, they are their birthplace and such, and even if they travel the world that is where they actually live unless otherwise stated.
Of course that does make one question why Widowmaker's base of operation is still listed as Annecy. Did she buy back her own home after Gerard died and she vanished, thus making wherever she lived without an owner?

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
It's stated that she was a successful ballet dancer in Paris for most of her life, so I'm guessing that's where she's really from. My theory is that she resides in a bunker in the mountains near Lake Annecy, that Talon made for her as a hideout.
Author. That'll be a great map—the terrifying abandoned Lacroix Manor.
All the local kids talk about how there's a ghost-witch living there. And the one smart-ass kid knows there's no such thing as the Lacroix Witch, it's just some house where the wife murdered her husband; and he's not afraid, he'll not only ring the door bell, but he'll go inside.
And then he'll slowly climb the stairs because he's really a little afraid, and he'll reach for the doorbell and see her! The Lacroix Ghost! Run! She's real and she's doing ballet for her dead husband!
Widowmaker is, of course, actually inside and feeling sad and vaguely nostalgic to generate sympathy from the audience. And smirking just a little teeny, terrorist-assassin bit at watching a gang of kids panic in the streets with her Infra-sight.
And inside will be...I don't know, a payload that has to be pushed from the garage to the dining room.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I'd say it would be better as capture point map.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!A week into the event, and the results of my lootboxes thus far:
For Characters I never play:
- Genji's Dance
- Genji's Skin
- Hanzo's Dance
- Tracer's Skin
- D.Va's dance
For characters I occasionally play:
- Lucio's Dance
- Junkrat's Dance
For Characters I frequently play:
- Nada
I mean, I guess I can't complain too much. Both of the skins are good, after all. But at the same time, you know. Bit of precision on the Lootboxes part would be nice.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I'm still salty that i got D.Va's legendary twice in a row.
At least i got Junkrat's dance i guess :v

FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiJust wanted to ask, what exactly is McCree and Sombra's relationship?
I believe it's shown that they know each other in some way, but exactly how is left ambiguous. They competed in a drinking contest with each other on Christmas, despite being on opposing sides, which was the first sign. It would be an extremely Contrived Coincidence if they just met by accident in that particular bar, considering they live hundreds, if not over a thousand miles away. In fact, what was McCree even doing in Mexico anyways? Then Sombra says it's a "pleasure" working with McCree in-game, and he responds with saying that his name is NOT Joel. Finally, we have Sombra's Hacker Cave in Castillo. One of the images on her monitors is a picture of McCree linked to Overwatch (it also has Ana, but I'm not sure exactly what the significance of that is), while other characters like Winston (who leads the new Overwatch) are nowhere to be found.
So, how do you guys think McCree and Sombra know each other? It's something interesting to think about, that's for sure.
Author. It's entirely possible that Sombra sought Mccree out as someone who knew Reaper back when he was Reyes. Mccree is certainly more accessible than Ana or 76, and more likely to work with her than Torbjorn or Reinhardt.
Mccree also holds a position that's probably of some interest to Sombra, being that all of his dirty laundry is out in the open, but he's still obviously flustered by some shit she can pull. Given Sombra's nature as a Troll, she probably enjoys having someone she can prod without having anything that would make them turn against her. I could see them making a connection through some other way—either Sombra seeking Mccree out because of his connection to Blackwatch and Reyes, or running afoul of his vigilante activities (He did stop a train heist by some Talon agents after all).
Alternatively, since Mccree is dating Hanzo and Sombra is dating Symmetra, they could easily just have bonded over their hoity-toity partners.

Plot twists like turning evil and such are kinda reserved for when we have you know an actual story. All we got right now is setup and mini-arcs that serve as character introductions.
