Not truly offline— it's connected to Blizzard's Battle.net service, after all— but you can play with AI and practice with heroes in a training environment.

Yeah, I am seeing d.Va and Lucio getting shipped for that interaction pretty fast. Winston is pretty Adorkable judging by his dialogue.

The Reinheardt ones were pretty amusing. Mc Cree's comment on Reaper's guns was funny as well. I felt kinda bad hearing the Phara ones. It's pretty obvious that the relationship between her and her mother was less then ideal then most would think. The Genji one was kinda interesting.

Anyway, has anyone seen the Japanese trailers for Overwatch? I think i recognize some of the voice actors but i'm not sure who.

New patch with some new skins, including Pirate Torbjorn and Jester Junkrat. As well, there's an experimental 'tavern brawl' mode with silly rules, hearthstone style, in the works.

Okay, guys. Since Square Enix is responsible for distributing this game in Japan... I have a feeling that someday, that version will get exclusive skins.

I think you know what I mean, so here's a fun question; which characters would look good in whose costumes?

This includes Eidos games like Deus Ex Human Revolution, the new Tomb Raider, etc.

The only two that come directly to mind would be

• Mc Cree - Irvine Kinneas
• Mercy - Yuna

Irvine... he's from Final Fantasy VIII, right? The same game Squall Leonhart came from?

I don't play a lot of Squeenix games due to how rare they are here, so I make due by reading their stories and stuff. But I think I remember a character with a cowboy hat in FF. Is that him?

Please add what games they come from; not everyone here are knowledgeable as most of you.

Reinhard could wear the Judge Armors from Final Fantasy XII, and Soldier: 76 is obviously Laguna from FF 8.

Symmetra could wear whatever the name of the girl with the glasses from Chrono Trigger wore (or perhaps Mei since she wear glasses), and Bastion could have a skin based on a robot from the same game. Ooh, and that frog warrior could be Lucio's skin!

Oh, man... I wonder what kind of Final Fantasy jobs will fit which Overwatch cast. Mercy is obviously the White Mage.

Yeah Irvine is from Final Fantasy VIII, He is a gunslinger like Mc Cree

Oh Tracer could get a Rikku costume, Lucio could get a Wakka outfit.

D.Va could get a Magitek armor painted mech from Final Fantasy VI, or a Front Mission paint job.

As for Jobs, umm

• Genji is obviously a Ninja,
• Reaper would be an FFX-2 Gunner,
• Soldier: 76 a FFX-2 Alchemist,
• Mei a Geomancer,
• Hanzo a XIV archer,
• Reinhardt a XIV Warrior,
• Roadhog a XIV Dark Knight
• Winston is a Berserker
• Lucio is a X-2 Songstress style
• Zenyatta is a X-2 Psychic

Wish Mc Cree has multiple weapons; would love to see the Overwatch version of a double-barrelled shotgun and a Winchester Rifle. If he's gonna fit the cowboy thing, at least have him use the well known arsenals.

From what I remember, the Dress Spheres from X-2 is preset and can't be changed. The MMO games like 11 and 14... holy crap, there's a bajillion variations.

Reaper could be Golbez, but perhaps Exdeath fits him better. Junkrat and Roadhog could have Ultros and Typhon based costumes—a goddamn perfect combo.

Reinhardt is Gilgamesh; they're both hamtastic... but Zenyatta is the one who can conjure multiple arms.
