Did Anri felled under Saika's influence in the Light Novels?
If not, then why is she in that list?
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Saika probably counts - but Anri is its wielder, so I lumped her in.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Faina from Infite Ryvius comes to mind.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy Ent- Fuyou Kaede (SHUFFLE!)

- Maria (Arakawa Under The Bridge)
- Kirishima Shouko (Baka to Test)
- Aragaki Ayase (Ore Imo)
- Hatou Manabu (Yukari no Qualia)
- Shirayuki Hotogi (Hidan no Aria)
- Oginome Ringo (Mawaru Penguindrum)
- Shiro (Deadman Wonderland)
In what way are Rena or Revy yandere? o_O Rena isn't in love with anyone, and Revy doesn't even remotely have an innocent facade.
You also missed a couple of obvious ones in DRRR!! - Mika Harima and Seiji Yagiri, who are in love with each other. Or at least Mika loves Seiji and Seiji loves the model of Mika's head.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableRena is not a yandere, neither during the misunderstanding, nor during the real craziness.
Shion, however, is a yandere during her crazy arc, so she counts.
ERROR: Signature not loadedI love how Bowser is in this list. It's just you have all these anime(esque) characters here and then... Bowser.
I'll be looking them up.
...bloody hell, I did forget about them. Not sure they were much in the way of fighters though.
Yes. I chuckled at that one myself. But he is pretty crazy about Peach. Even threatened to destroy the universe at one point, IIRC.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Would Haruko Haruhara count as a yandere?
Everything she does is to meet with Atomsk, and she causes a lot of damage without any guilt for it in the process. Though, sure, she really just wanted Atomsk's power and tried to kill Naota after he absorbed it. But she seems to zigzag between flirting, absolute affection, and hunger for power.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I don't know who that is.
Well, it may not have been terribly effective, but Seiji did attack Shizuo Heiwajima with a ballpoint pen...
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHaruko is no yandere, she wanted Atomsk as a font of power, the idea that he is her boyfriend was a self-serving interpretation by the chief. Besides she is hardly ever innocent or motivated by pure love, the defining traits of a yandere.
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.
Long story short: I'm writing a fan work that features a number of Yandere characters and seeing how long it takes for them to kill each other off. Unashamedly. I'm trying to find more Yandere-ish characters, explore them, and see if they're combat-applicable.
Are there any more obscure titles with yandere protagonists/antagonists that aren't on the Yandere page? Preferably from manga/anime, but animesque works like Disgaea are good. I've got these ones:
- Yuno Gasai (The Future Diary)
-
- Lucy (Elfen Lied)
- Misa Amane (Death Note)
- Kagerou Kouga (Basilisk)
- Nina Einstein (Code Geass)
- Shion Sonozaki (Higurashi: When They Cry)
-
-
- Shizuri Mugino “Meltdowner” (A Certain Scientific Railgun)
- Mao (Code Geass)
- Ryoko Asakura (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
-
- Kimmy Howell (No More Heroes 2)
- Bowser (Super Mario Bros)
- Shiro (Deadman Wonderland)
- Eska (Legend of Korra)
- Anri Sonohara & Saika (Durarara)
