A page late. I posted that in page 1. Next.
Meanie.
Well anyway I would watch it◊.
It's called Monogatari Season 2.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I found that the so-called "waifu wars" already appeared in the studio's conference rooms before the episode has been aired. I guess I kind of get what was Miyazaki's criticism of the anime industry is basically a case of Running the Asylum...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaEpisode 3: In which things are even more hectic than usual. It seems like Aoi didn't sleep for several days...but they finally finished episode 4.
Still a good watch. Arupin's crying scene definitely improved. And the scene with the three of them running was quite moe.
Poor Fauxhawk-kun still can't catch a break for that one time...
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 3. In which a brain fries.
Anime characters are incapable of sneaking without tripping over something.
Talking out loud. Actually a good idea to organise your thoughts. Also, while you should spread out work on all kinds of tasks (short easy, long easy, short difficult, and long difficult tasks), starting off with the short and easy ones is a good idea if you don't really know what to do. It's also something that will clear off a lot of tick-boxes on your schedule, which feels good. On the other hand, you'll have the more difficult ones left.
Some people just shouldn't be trusted to work on their own.
Tea and coffee are horrible to clean.
One of the figurines has a top and a skirt in one picture, but just underwear in another one later on. Or a bikini.
Teamwork is good. I quit a job because that was all about blaming others the moment something went wrong. Well, between departments.
Check out my fanfiction!P.A. Works captured the pressure perfectly. I must commend them for this particular episode.
I like the fact that the show acknowledges its huge of amount of characters by displaying names for reappearing characters.
Also, I heard this is confirmed to be 2-cour?
This show is a lot better than I initially gave it credit for. Mostly I thought I'd watch it out of interest in the production process but I really like it. Goth Loli-sama is best.
Yup, this is two-cour. I was kinda surprised, actually, since it's a simple slice of life show.
Speaking of Goth Loli-sama, can someone please explain to me what her job entails? I'm still completely in the dark here. >.<
She's the chief animator. Basically, what Obari started out as, doing the most important cuts in an episode.
I mean like, what did she do? Finishing touches or something on the cut before they send it off?
Pretty much.
A Chinese fansub that I also watch gave a slightly more detailed answer: Supervisors correct raw frames. Supervisors-in-chief such as Osawagawa unifies and style and details of the supervisors. She makes her edits on a green paper to show that's her edit—most studios have different levels of supervisors use different colours of paper, but colour coding may be different for different studios.
- Kind of like theforeshadowing done—in this case, Shizuka's phone call, and the fact that there're always more than 100 seiyuus in an audition, and the fact that the Director has a Writer's Block.
- Mr.Director, after all the Post-Stress Overeating, I don't expect you can still eat that much fried chicken. No wonder you're fat
- Mom looks youthful.
- Law Of Preservation Of Detail: I expect the fact that Aoi "get stomachaches easily" may have plot importance. Not now.
- I suppose Taro did mean something important.
Remember, Shizuka, younote sang a song titled The Flower of Hope!
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova- Voice actors look schizophrenic to anyone else. And l-l-lewd.
- "The fact that we think alcohol tastes great must mean we're finally adults!" Ummmm....sure?
- It's only been two years. You don't need to study longer to do CG?
- Mon Mon Biyori~
- Tell me more about Andes Chucky.
- Overall a much more laid back episode than last time...with some foreshadowing.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot."You're lucky. To be obsessed with work means you're actually working."
Yet another week of Shirobako being too real.
Also lol those ersatz anime titles...
P.S. what the actual fuck was that drunk song, Miyamori?

I can say with utmost certainty that Shizuka will get to cast in My Harem Might be Falling Apart, but I Guess I'm Just Imagining Things, based on Shinoda's opinion on "I don't dislike her unrefined style." The operating word here is harem. Well, she is quite unrefined among the ex-Animation Club.
I'm unsure whether the ex-Animation Club has after the movie was a lunch or a snack? Nonetheless, they clearly have a collective Sweet Tooth. Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova
Episode 4.
.... God I feel so bad for this woman. Keep in mind that voice-acting, especially for cartoons, is among the most competitive jobs and requires such specialized skill, that you gotta get used to dealing with rejection ALL the time! And I understand her position because she's still starting out of school and she's still in the weeping stages! It's like you fear like you won't be able to live off the thing you're passionate about and once thought your plans were gonna be easy, but then you face the chance of going broke and homeless! The least she could have done was stop and talk to the other actresses auditioning there before she left and possibly exchange contact information, so she wouldn't be feeling so inferior to establish actresses who are still strangers to her! I don't know if that's done in Japan, but it is done all the time in Western cartoons in California.
I watch a fair amount of moe slice-of-life shows and all through the moments when things go right, I always tense up because I don't know how brutal or "real" the show is gonna portray real life and possibly BEAT UP on these poor girls! It's one of the reasons why I find that kind of anime so gripping, moreso in the early episodes where I don't get know what kind of show it will be.
Wow that is one kinda iffy Director! :/ Gets writers block, and has a bad memory.

Taro needs to go.That is all.
As for trivia this episode, aside from the obvious series references, real-life VA agencies were also cited◊.
Shirobako continues to be great at slice of life.
as a person that lives far away from my parents — another country, in fact — the phone call between Miyamori and her parents struck really close to home. I still get offers of food packages (like I couldn't buy food myself) after years of moving away.
the discussion at the restaurant is also fairly realistic, as far as I've experienced reunions with friends that belonged to the same clubs and that ended up in related careers (you end up talking about shop a lot ).
I can't tell you how many times I felt awkward calling my parents. -_-
Finally watched the first two episodes.
The only things that's missing in the opening is some Eurobeat, I'd imagine it'd feel like this. DOUGHNUTS! Being Serious for a moment: I actually relate to this anime a whole lot. I've been studying production of films (which, by extension , is similar here) and I can tell you, its hell. A whole lot of things that can go wrong, will. Especially, if you're inexperienced.
I especially like the Voice Acting part. I've been there, delivering lines over and over again. Maddening.
If this anime hits me in the right spot, I just might declare it my personal favorite in the season.

Yeah.
