Discussion for the :D inducing manga.

Kuromine is a guy who does not lie, hence his nick name "a bag full of holes". But everyone has secrets, and even Kuromine has one. Meet the very lovely, elegant, and mysterious Shiragami whom Kuromine has new found affections for... But what is this? Why does she have humongous wings when no one's looking and super long canines? something is very different about girl...

Turns out that she's a vampire! And to keep Shiragami from returning home, Asahi becomes the first to reach out to her, and now the most open book in the universe must keep one hell of a secret from everyone else. Though is Shiragami the only one in the school with a secret to keep? Well, no, that would be boring.

With laughs everywhere, and a colorful cast of cute, yet kinda dim supernatural beings, from devil principal Loli, to mini aliens, and my personal favorite, nympho-wolf man-woman, it's a cute and silly little series, that just keeps getting more crazy, with every chapter.

Don't have much to add, but I'll try.

Maybe the intro could use some work. It's alright to spread the love, but TVT articles aren't supposed to have an unbiased look at everything. Which is...Impossible, but it couldn't hurt to try?

Also, newest chapter. I wonder if things will get a bit more serious here, or if this is another bait-and-switch, and next chapter we should be expecting a complete 180.

They did the same thing for Rin's intro (Seemingly serious for about five pages), and good lord, did it give us the best "Bad" future in all of fiction.

I think it's a bait-and-switch, in all likelihood. No way are we getting a resolution on this just yet. Time travel should allow for a lot alternatives. Maybe it's an alternate timeline or something.

x3 For a comedy, the author sure likes to be subtle◊ about his foreshadowing, huh?

Still brings up the all important question: how? I just can't wait to see how they'll make a sharp turn back into comedy.

Alternate universe would be sad in hindsight, tho. When Shiragami and Asahi finally hook up, Mikan has the knowledge that she did win in a different time, but the sad thing is that she's not her.

Here's another thing I like about the series; it's harem with Next to no gratuitous fan service. Lots of the illustrations will flaunt what the girls got, but they don't need to show skin to show you their beautiful; they already look good rocking normal clothes. Even the resident nympho, and the goddamn sluts don't have any groan inducing porny shots.

My guess for Mikan is She's the OTHER grandmother. Although I wouldn't put some ridiculous Marry Them All ending in which Rin calls them ALL granny out of consideration yet either.

x2 Yeah, it's definitely better than lots of gratuitous fanservice.

Personally, what I like most here is that the girls that have legitimate feelings for Kuromine don't really antagonize each other, and are very friendly with one another. The friendship between Shiragami and Nagisa and how they each think Kuromine likes the other is particularly nice, I'd say. They don't resent one another or become jealous because of it, and that's something more series could use.

Got to chapter 15 (the curry…)

I can't really explain what makes the silliness of this series so enjoyable, but I would say the artstyle is one big reason. :D Dynamism and expressiveness is pretty damn imporant in this kind of series, and it's perfect here.

Hard to tell who my favorite character is because I love all of them, buuut, I guess Shiragami has a short lead. It's kind of refreshing to have a rom com that doesn't even try for a second to take itself seriously: everyone is equally clueless.

The gags are hilarious even when you see them coming a short bit in advance. Just one example: Kuromine throwing a stick to Shirou. You just know what's going to happen when you turn the page, but it works anyway (or maybe because of that?) This author has a good sense of pace and timing.

Yeah, it's a pretty fun little series, that.

People tend to forget that there are usually four grandparents in a family. Granted, this might not mean anything directly, but in this case it also means that Mikan can still get into the family free even if she doesn't "win" Akashi... by becoming the mother to the son that becomes Rin's father.

maybe she called her granny out of respect ?there's that too.

apart from the usual manic smiles he draws,the cheerful ones are great too.like Mikan's in the beginning of 41.

Maternal. He's her mother's father. She said this when she first showed up, to explain why her last name was different.

Other than that, after having caught up, I just have one interrogation: how the hell did Youko's parents manage to have a child? —'.`— How does that work?

Akane can make Aizawa human sized,so it could probably work in reverse too.

@first question: Definitely. They share the same body, but couldn't be more different.

… Both Alekos' and Sunshine's theories seem valid. Regardless, I really like Youko's relationship with her dad. It's so… realistic in a sense. And it makes us see Youko with a different set of expressions than usual.

For Shio and Shiro I would do one entry with 3 sections

• Trope common to Both
• Shiho Only
• Shiro Only

That's how I've seen it done before, but I can't think of an example off the top of my head.

aww,Asahi's so nice.kind of a bittersweet chap.

Yeah, the tone is a bit different for once, but it's nice. I must say I don't dislike the non-evil Mikan.

Oh, but if there is a Stable Time Loop involved my head's gonna hurt… well I doubt this series' plot will go into excessively complicated territories.

Really like the sincerity of both of them anyway.

That's the best reaction to a rejection I've seen in a while. It's a very good thing they were both so straightforward and honest.

Chapter 42: Pretty darn sweet.

And another possibility popped up in my head: Maybe Rin calls Mikan 'Granny' as an affectionate term, instead of being her actual grandmother on whichever side of the family tree.
