But again, the definition says that a Planet Eater is okay for this trope.
I don't know why it's there, but it's there, so Galactus is apparently an example, even if his motivations don't ft at all.
Since the Thanos pic is winning anyway, is this debate about whether or not Galactus is an example even relevant?
Like I said, just because it says that it's ok, doesn't mean that Galactus is an example. If he was, he would be properly listed as one on the page a long time ago. It's possible for a Planet Eater to conquer the galaxy just by threatening others to comply. Same with Nukes. The threat comes from having them, not using them.
Well, if we conclude that Galactus is not a good example, then we should edit the description at the top of the trope, because it all but spells out that he is one. That's ok, descriptions sometimes need updating, no big deal.
Here's the Thanos pic from Guardians at wiki size...too dark?
Way too dark.
Here's the other Guardians Thanos, slightly cropped.
That one looks awesome.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDidn't that one lose the crowner?
Right now it's at 0, with 6 yeas and 6 nays. The other is the leader, but I changed my vote to because it really is too dark at wiki size.
Better?

Check out my fanfiction! The uploader one still works.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm fine with that.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Much better.
This is ready to call. The brightened version of the winner is up, potholed, and tagged. Probably could use a caption, but I don't have anything right now.
"Ruler of all he surveys"
Either that or something from his comic book self, like "You address omnipotence. Tread carefully."

"All you Fascists bound to lose."I was just reading over his page for other inspirations.
Everything I came up with was just way too complex.

I like that one.
That caption is up and the tag adjusted; requesting closure.
